Dragoste Space SMALL ART SHOP In a month, he appeared on România Te Iubesc, and there Love became a phenomenon.

It's a 5 sqm space in a separate room with three walls and a storefront on Andrei Șaguna nr 5, in the center of Sibiu, rented by the artist Pintea Dan-Raul to open his own art and Love-themed products store, centered around a red neon sign that radiates Love, symbolizing his passion for art. LoveArt
Born in 1981 in Sibiu, he graduated in Fine Arts and a Master's degree from the Univ

ersity of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, and after debuting in the contemporary art scene in 2007 at the first edition of the White Night of Galleries, he quit his job to pursue his love of art. LoveBrand
In 2011, he realized that Love was the most important aspect of his work and wrote Love for the first time on a second-hand red t-shirt, which he registered with Osim after Skizzo Skillz tried to copy it. Thus, from an underground manifesto, Love turned into the Love brand, which was officially launched at the Common Nostalgia exhibition, curated by Eugen Rădescu at the Pavilion in 2014. Love
In 2017, he won the Zain Design Projects Accelerator in Cluj Napoca and a funding of 500 euros, which he invested in t-shirts to promote the Love brand on a large scale through a performance that showed how hard it is to make a living from art. LoveStore
In 2020, on Valentine's Day, he drew power from his neighbors and lit up the Love neon sign in the rented space on Andrei Șaguna, which came to life, and since then he has been living off art, which is Love. LoveStanding
In 2023, he will participate for the first time in an international art fair, MoBu, where he will have a booth with Love, which stands for Love..

Lot 70 🖼️ 224 €

Acrylic on bitumen taken from where I found the bracelet, 26 cm × 27 cm × 3 cm, 2016

This work reminds me of the times when I used to see hearts everywhere..
But today, it means something else—a ‘mărțișor’ cast aside, much like how the public domain has trampled over my art. They refused to let me participate with my new mărțișor design on a t-shirt, simply because the Mărțișor Fair on Bălcescu Street doesn’t accept clothing items.

I hit bureaucratic barrier again. It is frustrating when an artist’s vision is limited by rigid rules, especially when you propose something innovative, such as a “mărțișor” worn on a t-shirt (an excellent idea for keeping tradition alive in a modern format).

Since I bring Dragoste to the table as a hybrid brand—gallery + clothing + object, for me, apparel is part of the discourse, not just merchandise.

For strangers who don’t know “Martisor” is a Romanian Spring Talisman.

This red and white bracelet is traditionally worn on March 1st in Romania.
It symbolizes the arrival of spring, renewal, protection and hope.
It is offered as a small gesture of care and connection.
