our spoken language was simple
barely english
no real thai on my part
we spoke something else
the language of hands, pressure, patience

he taught me how to feel quality
how to read resistance in the leather while stitching
how to do things wrong, and how to do them again
learning by doing
always by doing

but more than that
he taught me how to stay present
how to meet people with love
and that even in the hardest moments
you keep the humor
find the sparkle in your eye and share it with others

with a wild imagination
and an eye for every detail
his life hasn’t been easy
close to the streets
but his craft is his anchor, his gift

this is the leather i use for haseya
sourced from local farmers in dalarna and uppland, here in sweden
yes, you could trace your shoes back to the actual cow, if you wanted to

why that matters?
because it means we see the full story
we know how the animals lived
and we treat the hide as what it is — a precious leftover
not the reason the animal lived, but a way to honour that it did

i turn it into something that holds
something that’s meant to walk
to live with you, every day
a tool, not a trend

not all materials belong everywhere
but ethically sourced, vegetable tanned (!!!) leather
belongs on your feet

now imagine ::
sliding down a mountain in ski boots, the most uncorfortable thing in the world (maybe)
then!! coming back down, happy, because the mountains were epic, the raindeers free, the air fresh, and you slide your feet into comfortable shoes that allows your feet to sprrrrrrreeeeead

maybe this only makes sense to me,
who was born and raised in the mountains
but comfortable shoes should be more common than they are today

due to too much work i need to paus/play the custom order section. for now were on paus, but if you have planned to SWAY from the summer on with a pair of hand made-real feel good-shoes, i recommend you get on the starting line because I will open for orders again only between 17th march-30th of march, and deliver the finished mocc to you in end of april.

next chance for orders will be in the autumn.
partial payment is possible.
