VO Vismarlöv Limited Edition
New accessory line
Our first post for 2022 - introducing our new accessory line.
For VO Vismarlöv Limited Edition Accessories we used only leather that came from Vismarlövsgården in the South of Sweden, one of the few climate certified farms in our country.
The farmers Jens and Matilda are dedicated to raise their cattle in the most sustainable way possible. The farm holds a small amount of high-end cattle (mostly Charolais breed with blend of Hereford, Angus and Simmental) which they nourish and raise close to their family, with the best possible facilities, grain open fields and treatments.
Only a small amount of animals are taken each year, only 6-10 at maximum. The hides are then collected and sent to a small Swedish family tannery, that specialises in traditional vegetable tanning of leather hides. After almost 10 months, the hides return to us, after they have been given the oily soft finish that is characteristic only for VO Vismarslöv Limited Edition Accessories. No correction of the grain is ever made - top grain is left natural and unique. All stitches are made of waxed microfiber for best strength to look smooth and elegant, yet staying robust.
