The best kitchens don’t announce themselves. They become part of the architecture.

Designed as a carefully considered composition, every element has its place. A display cabinet anchors the room, a generous island draws people together, a wall of tall cabinetry provides discreet storage, and open shelving introduces rhythm and openness.

Nothing competes for attention. Instead, each element contributes to a kitchen that feels calm, balanced and as though it has always belonged to the house.

A project you haven’t seen before.

Completed two years ago on Sweden’s west coast, just outside Marstrand, this project extended far beyond the kitchen. But it felt only right to begin with the room that naturally became the heart of the home.

Designed around the kitchen, open shelving and a generous island, the kitchen was conceived as a place for gathering rather than simply cooking. Every material was chosen to age gracefully, allowing the space to feel as though it had always belonged to the house.

We’ll be sharing the rest of this home over the coming weeks.

Summer is just around the corner, and soon it will be time for us to slow down and enjoy a well deserved break.
While we’re looking forward to recharging over the summer, we’re already busy planning for an exciting autumn and the year ahead.
If you’re considering a project for next year or beyond, we’d love to hear from you. Our calendar is already filling up, and early planning always makes for the best results.
