Who is Linda…? Up until the summer of 2014 I lived and worked in Lake Oswego, Oregon (US) with my husband and two children, age 12 and 15. I was born and raised in southern Sweden, and my husband in Denmark. This makes our household language a funny mixture, and our holidays equally so. I came to San Jose, CA in 1993 as an Au-Pair, with the intention to stay a year. I managed to meet my husband there after 2 weeks, and decided to stay to go to school. My education in Sweden was business and economics, but I now gave in to my creative side, and got a degree in Multimedia and Graphic Design. After purchasing our first house in 1997, moving on average every 2 years since, renovating each home, I quickly realized that I wasn’t only good at graphic design, but also Interior Design, Decorating and Organizing. When friends and family started asking for help with their homes, I started my own Interior Design & Decorating business, Rejuvenate Your Home in 2004. In 2006 I decided to add to my arsenal, and got my Real Estate License, something I had been thinking about ever since we bought our first house. After a brief stint in Sweden to be closer to family, I quickly realized that I was much better at helping my fellow Real Estate brokers with their businesses, than selling houses. I created Newsletters (print and digital), Marketing material, CRM, and the Organization of both their physical and digital office, to make them more efficient. The combination of my background in Graphic Design, my Organizational skills and knowledge of the real estate market, made this a great match. The last few years we have mulled over the question of moving back to our roots, and this summer we took the big step. We are all happy to call Höllviken our new home, and I hope to find a company where I can contribute with my skills in Organization, Coordination, Color and Design.
