OM RETISH
Retish är ett designkoncept från Close2, ett kreativt idé- och designföretag med bas i Östergötland, Norrköping. Bakom Close2 och Retish står Åsa Palmqvist – grundare, idéskapare och ansvarig designer. Retish skapar unika hattar och andra skulpturala former & föremål av inskickade eller överlämnade t-shirts – med syftet att bevara minnen och minska textilavfall. Det handlar om att ge nytt liv åt ett älskat plagg, istället för att låta det ligga i en låda eller kastas bort. RETISH - HATT
Standardmodellen just nu är en hatt med cowboystil i unsexmodell och byggd på en filtklädd bas. (mer info på hemsida www.retish.com) T-shirten "tapetseras" lager för lager och förhårdnas visuellt och tekniskt och varje hatt blir ett personligt och bärbart konstverk. På förfrågan kan även andra hattmodeller erbjudas, beroende på tillgång på passande grundform. SPECIAL
Vi gör också specialbeställningar, där t-shirten blir till helt skulpturala former – ibland inspirerade av hatt, ibland något helt annat. Dessa verk är inte primärt tänkta att bäras (går säkert om man önskar men hatten är hård) utan att bevaras som konstobjekt, samlarföremål eller väggdekor. Vi utvecklar även ständigt tekniken och hoppas inom snar framtid att kunna nå fram till mjukare hattar i endast t-shirtmaterial. Fram tills dess arbetar vi med hattar dom har en filtbeklädform i grunden. TILL & FÖR VEM
Utöver personligt och unikt till dig själv eller vän - för huvud, bokhylla eller vägg - kan även Retish finnas i sammanhang som ett sätt att stötta eller uppmärksamma något eller i samarbete med ett band, en klubb eller som ett unikt merch-alternativ i begränsad upplaga. SWISH

ABOUT RETISH
Retish is a design concept by Close2 – a creative idea and design studio based in Norrköping, Östergötland, Sweden.Behind both Close2 and Retish is Åsa Palmqvist – founder, concept creator, and lead designer. Retish creates unique hats and other sculptural pieces from t-shirts that have been sent in or handed over – with the purpose of preserving memories and reducing textile waste. It's about giving new life to a beloved garment, instead of letting it sit in a drawer or be thrown away. RETISH – HATS
Our current standard model is a unisex cowboy-style hat, built on a felt-covered base. (More info at www.retish.com)The t-shirt is applied layer by layer and hardened both visually and technically. Each hat becomes a personal, wearable work of art. Other hat styles may be available upon request, depending on the availability of suitable base forms. SPECIAL COMMISSIONS
We also offer custom commissions where the t-shirt is turned into a fully sculptural form – sometimes hat-inspired, sometimes something entirely different. These pieces are not primarily intended to be worn (though they can be, if desired – but they are rigid), but to be preserved as art objects, collector's items, or wall decor.We are continuously developing our techniques and hope to soon offer softer hats made solely from t-shirt fabric. Until then, we work with a felt-covered base as the foundation. In addition to being a personal and unique piece for yourself or a friend – whether for head, bookshelf, or wall – Retish can also be part of projects that raise awareness, show support, or serve as a unique merch option in collaboration with bands, clubs, or organizations. If you are ordering from outside Sweden, please contact us via email before sending your t-shirt. We will provide you with suitable payment options for international transactions (such as bank transfer with IBAN and SWIFT/BIC details). When placing your order and making your design deposit, please be sure to include your email address and full contact details so we can send you an order confirmation. Upon receiving the confirmation, you will have the opportunity to provide additional contact information, special requests, or other relevant details.
