Mallorca living room 🤍 A last pic (for now) of the living room with its gorgeous fireplace in our Mallorca project. We opted for warm neutrals and playing with materials and textures to create interest here, as we have throughout the house. The rounded sofa tables in two heights provide lots of room for drinks or that first morning cup of coffee and the pretty chess board game is handmade by our clients’ relative a while back. It magically materialized during install and the amazing craftsmanship and color was spot on, providing some personality and soul.

As we’ve said before - this project has been absolute bliss and we are beyond grateful to our wonderful clients for trusting us with your home 🤍

The entryway of our Mallorca project 🤍 The house architects did a fantastic job designing this traditional, artisanal Mallorcan pebble floor greeting anyone who comes to visit. Across the room you have a lovely view of the pool area and garden beyond and we didn’t want the furniture stealing the show. This wooden sideboard was perfect for the space and we love the cute detail with the wooden legs. A few favorite items and the table lamp on top the sideboard add some contrast, and the ceiling lamp with glass globes give a little glow and pizazz to the room.

The main bedroom of our Mallorca project. The brief from the client was a calming space with green colors reminiscent of the surrounding mountains and their lovey garden. The headboard and bed skirt set the tone for the room and crisp bed linens paired with custom cushions in various textures hopefully creates a soft and soothing atmosphere. The throw is a little masterpiece by and the hand blown glass pendant lamps on either side of the bed by gives the most tranquil light at night.

This project and house was such a labor of love and we are so grateful to our wonderful clients for letting us work with you on this 🤍

The living room of our Mallorca project 🤍 The client wanted a tranquil and relaxed design for this space. We decided to use deep, comfortable sofas in the area surrounding the fireplace with lots of custom cushions in shades of beige and green paired with organic shaped sofa tables of various heights to cater for snacks, drinks and games. The dining table is extendable to suit up to 8+ people but is perfect in its rounder, smaller shape when it’s just the family on a weekday. Outside you get a glimpse of the kitchen garden and magnificent outdoor spaces.

This has been an absolute dream project originally kicking off in 2023. We are so grateful to our wonderful clients and to for the collaboration - team work at its best!

My hallway as seen in this spring. Realized I never shared these pictures of one of my favorite rooms at home. When we decided to spruce this space up I knew I wanted a wallpaper with a nature motif that felt calm and inviting. I spent a lot of time searching online and when I finally came across Plantasia from I knew it was the one. To me, it is the perfect mix of historic old tapestry meets modern day design. Funnily enough I hadn’t seen the Mother Nature figure hiding in the woods until the wallpaper was up. You can see her in the reflection in the very last image…

I am so glad I had wonderfully talented help me with clothes and styling (see previous posts) as I was literally all over the place for this shoot. Thank you 🤍

Vacation time 💭 Thank you everyone for following along this very busy and fun spring and start of summer! The studio door is now spruced up with its new summer design: a wonderful, dreamy cloudscape and the window material mood board (of course) has some sea shells incorporated in it. We are now taking some lovely time off and will be back in the studio again in August. Wishing each and everyone of you a wonderful summer filled with the people and things you love. The January sun is shining and we feel happy and excited for the year to come. We are very fortunate to work on some lovely homes at the moment and are also very thankful for our corporate clients who keep trusting us to do their spaces. More updates on what’s in the works in 2025 soon! 💫

Sharing a closeup from the lower living room in our archipelago project. This space holds a big gorgeous velvet sofa in a deep mustard yellow and the dark sofa table designed by for was a perfect match to go with it. We have a penchant for browns in all shades at the moment and this custom pouf felt like the icing on the cake in this space 🤎

This hallway is a part of the main bedroom en suite in our archipelago project. We ordered the bespoke shell mirror as a nod to the location and as something that could provide a personal connection to our clients.

The starting point of the design were seashells and corals that the family has gathered over the years. Together with a bunch of ethically sourced shells Mikael and Buster at created the mirror by hand for us. Thank you, it’s truly a masterpiece 🐚

👋 everyone! I thought it might be time for a little introduction to all of you who are new in here (so happy to have you!). I’m Maria and I started Sparrow & Weston in 2016 after almost ten years in advertising.

My goal then, and to this day, is to create spaces that make people feel comfortable, happy and at home. Whether it’s someone’s residence or a commercial property our ambition is the same.

My desire back in 2016 was to be more creative, hands on and passionate in my day to day work. My grandmother, Monica Weston, was one of the most creative persons I’ve known and she inspired the name of the company, together with our British ancestor William Sparrow. He built a house near Cambridge, the Park Farm, where he commissioned murals and other bespoke architectural features to put his mark on the place - a little interior design gene already back in the 1700’s.

If you would have asked me back when I started where I thought I would be today I wouldn’t have believed it. Today we have our own studio on Odengatan in the middle of Stockholm and I am lucky to have two brilliant interior architects, Ulrika and Maja, working with me. I have also been blessed with the best suppliers and producers making our work so easy and fun - team work truly at its best.

Finally and most importantly, we wouldn’t be anything without all of our wonderful clients. Without their trust and faith in us we wouldn’t be here today and we are eternally grateful for all the amazing projects and opportunities they have given us over the years.

So that’s a little ”hello” and introduction to myself and to my company which I hold so dear to my heart.
