‘MAUVAISE IMPRESSION’- First Impressions?

This summer, SUITE is designing and building a new arts and cultural hub in Brussels, transforming over 400m² into a space for creativity, craft and community.

The project will bring together serigraphy and screen-printing studios, tattoo studios, an artists’ boutique, and more, shaping a raw existing site into a layered environment for making, meeting and sharing.

From Stockholm to Brussels, it’s going to be a creative summer. Stay tuned!

Progress from Djurö.

This ongoing project brings together four buildings across 492 m²: a main house with kitchen extension, guest house, kids’ house and a sauna by the shoreline.

The drawings shown here are now steadily becoming reality on site, with the extension facade currently being installed.

It’s exciting to see a project of this scale taking shape, and we’re incredibly proud of our in-house team, whose care, expertise and attention to detail continue to guide the project from design through to construction.

What’s the plan?

The biggest shift in a home begins on paper.
Before materials, colours, or construction, we spend time refining how a space can better support everyday life. Reworking layouts, improving flow, introducing bespoke interior, and finding new potential within existing square metres.

Each drawing becomes part of a larger plan:
to create homes that feel more intuitive to live in, without losing the character that made them worth renovating in the first place.
