Caption (FULL):
"Will it actually look like the render?" β€” every homeowner's real fear.

Royal Hallmark is our answer β€” this time, the bedrooms. The son's room: a raised platform bed with pull-out storage, an integrated desk, rounded display niches. The master: a wood headboard, layered curtains, and concealed cove lighting that wraps the room in a warm glow after dark.

Swipe through and you'll see the plan, then the proof β€” render beside finished photo. What we draw is a contract, not a wish.

Thinking about your own reno? Comment ROYAL πŸ‘‡ and we'll DM you the full Royal Hallmark breakdown β€” layout decisions, the curve-and-arch details, and the honest budget range. Free, no obligation.

The render is the easy part. Delivering it is the whole job.

Here's the same Royal Hallmark living room, master bedroom and study β€” 3D render on one side, the finished, handed-over home on the other. Same curves. Same cove-light glow. Same storage, down to the drawer. No "artist's impression" disclaimer needed.

This is the single biggest question every homeowner should ask their ID: "Can you show me a render next to the finished photo?" If they can't, you're gambling.

We can. Comment ROYAL and we'll send you the full Royal Hallmark breakdown β€” layout, the curve-and-arch details, and the real budget range.

We don't chase reviews. We earn them.

Ten years in, most of our work still comes from clients who tell their friends. Here's one of them, in their own words.

If you're planning a reno and want the same experience β€” comment ROYAL and we'll send you our project breakdown to start.

The fastest way to make a home feel calm? Round the corners.

At Royal Hallmark, there's barely a hard edge in sight β€” an arched marble niche, a curved floating console, cabinetry with softened corners. It's not decoration. Curves are safer in a family home, they ease the flow through tight condo corridors, and they photograph soft and warm.

This is the design language we'll be unpacking all week: the curve and the arch.

Which curve would you put in your home first β€” the niche or the console? πŸ‘‡

Most floors sit there. This one leads.

Herringbone wasn't chosen for Keat Hong Mirage because it looked good β€” it was chosen because it does something. The diagonal pattern creates a visual pull that moves your eye from the entry through to every corner of the open-plan space.

Wood grain vinyl floorboard, laid in herringbone. Warm tone that echoes the cabinetry. The floor isn't a finish β€” it's part of the language.

That's the difference between decorating and designing.

Most people think open concept = removing walls. That's wrong.

Open concept is a FLOW decision, not a demolition decision.

The wall removal is the last 10% of the thinking. The other 90% is:
β€” How do you move from entry to kitchen?
β€” Where does cooking smells travel?
β€” Does removing that wall expose storage you'd rather hide?
β€” What ties the spaces together visually once they're open?

Get those answers wrong and you just have a bigger, more expensive mess.

Get them right and every room breathes together. Like we did at Keat Hong Mirage β€” one wall out, and the space won a SIDA 2022 Bronze Award.

Save this if you're planning a reno. You'll thank yourself later.

The wall had to go. But that was only the beginning.

Keat Hong Mirage β€” a 4-room HDB that was holding itself back. Kitchen sealed. Spaces fragmented. Every room disconnected from the one beside it.

What we did: removed one wall. Designed a curved suspended island that separated the kitchen and living β€” without closing them off. Laid herringbone flooring that draws the eye from entry to every corner. Added vertical line detailing on cabinetry throughout that creates the illusion of continuous motion.

The result? A home that feels like it flows.

This project won us the Singapore Interior Design Awards 2022 Bronze Award β€” Best in Residential Design (51–100 sqm). But more importantly, it gave our clients a home that feels alive every day.

The brief wasn't just a renovation β€” it was a vision. And when a client can recognise craftsmanship like this, it means we got it right.

Every home we design starts with listening. The result? Spaces that are not just beautiful, but award-winning.

If you're thinking about your renovation, start with a conversation. One hour, no obligation.

Design that moves without moving. ✦

Keat Hong Mirage was built on one idea β€” that a home should guide how you feel inside it, not just look good in photos.

Three principles made it happen:
β†’ Open the plan. Let the island define the boundary.
β†’ Curve the eye. Cabinetry that guides movement from entry to every corner.
β†’ Stay timeless. Warm whites, oak, linen β€” a palette that never dates.

The result? A 4-room HDB that feels like it breathes.

SIDA 2022 Bronze Award β€” Keat Hong Mirage.
