Lazy Florist Hack! 🤣

Wiring preserved roses the lazy way — less wire, less tape, but more super glue!

The flowers turn out more solid, but be careful… super glue can stain the delicate petals!

Florist hack: finding a cheaper way to stabilise floor hedges

The foam is light, so for front-facing hedges, they can easily topple over. I used to use stone slabs as the base, but when I need 36 pcs, the cost adds up quickly. 😅

Stone slab: $4 - $5 per pc
Water bottle: $0.50/ bottle

So here I am… literally wiring a water bottle to the foam base to add weight and keep the hedge stable. 😂

The downside? You’ll see the bottle if it’s not covered.
Solution: hide it with foliage! 🌿

Sometimes being a florist is not just about making things pretty — it’s also about being creative with the budget! 🤣

Many of you asked me after seeing my story… “What plants are these? Are they toxic to cats?” 😂🐱🌿

Don’t worry — these are actually faux plants and foliage that we sell in our shop! 😆

I was just experimenting with a planter to replace our real Monstera, because our kitten LOVES playing with the leaves. 🐱🍃

Since I have zero experience with cats and artificial plants, I’d love to hear from all the cat parents out there:

Are there any types of artificial plants or foliage that are more kitten/cat-friendly?
Or anything I should avoid?

When your kids raise cats, Daddy becomes the unpaid cat staff. 😂🐱

Feed them. Clean up after them.
And now… cat-proof the house! 🤦🏻‍♂️

“Daddy, Monstera is poisonous to the kittens!” 🌿⚠️

So out goes the real plant…
and in comes a faux one. 🤣

But the kittens?
“Faux or real, we’re still playing with the leaves!” 🐱🌿😂

That’s when Daddy had an idea… 💡
Pet-friendly faux greenery! 🌿🐾

Beautiful. Low-maintenance.
And hopefully… cat-approved! 😂

Give old, faded flowers a second life!

With a little effort, a little TLC and some spray paint, you can turn them into flowers that look almost brand new again. 😍

You may ask… “If everyone starts recycling their old flowers, how are you going to earn money?”

Don’t worry — I can still earn from the spray paint!

Would it be cheaper to just buy new ones? Maybe!
But there’s a different kind of satisfaction when you see the before & after and know you’ve brought old flowers back to life. 💪🌸

Shiok to purchase, but STRESS to promote new arrivals!

I love begonias because of their vibrant colours, but real begonias can be quite demanding — they need plenty of TLC and high humidity.

Our Real Touch Begonias bring that same pop of colour to your arrangements or home décor. Mix them with real plants, and they can blend in surprisingly well! 😍

Best part? They can be washed with water!
Just give them a little spray once in a while to clean off the dust and keep them looking fresh. ✨

Behind the scenes of this 3m photo wall!

Completed within just 1 day, with lots of teamwork, adjustments and last-minute decisions.

The challenging part? The client mentioned that the flowers we initially used didn’t quite match the look and feel they were trying to achieve. 😅

We changed, adjusted and reworked the flowers until we got closer to what they have envisioned.

After all the adjustments, hearing the client say they were very satisfied with the final outcome was definitely the best part! ❤️
