We have been on a little pause after the rush of Christmas, because us mother-daughter duo have now been upgraded to mother & grandmother with the arrival of our newest little blessing ❤️

This Chinese New Year, preparations feel a little different. Our fabric red packets, originally made for the festive season, have now taken on new meaning for us as a way to share love and good wishes to commemorate this special occasion.

As the year comes to a close, we have been thinking about everything that has happened behind the scenes. We seldom post unless we are out at pop-ups, but this year has been filled with many orders and projects - big and small, familiar and new.

One of the most meaningful was a custom memory quilt, made as a first birthday gift from a grandmother to her granddaughter. Created from the clothes worn in her first year, each holding the memories of tiny milestones and everyday moments.

As we stitched each piece together, a year of love, growth and firsts came together into one keepsake, made to be held close. Where something preloved becomes something beloved.

When everything is handmade, every spare moment counts. Between customers we’re working on anything we can do outside our workshop, like snipping threads, sewing on hardware, adding embellishments, and prepping restocks.

This week at Guoco Tower felt straight out of Katy Perry’s Hot N Cold, scorching sun one day, wild winds and heavy rain the next. The weather couldn’t make up its mind… but the people sure did.

We’re so thankful for the fellow vendors who shared laughs with us, the new friends we met, familiar faces who came by, and friends who not only made time to visit but even brought food to keep us going. Your support warmed our hearts through every “hot-and-cold” moment, and we couldn’t be more grateful 🥰
