Imagine a bright, airy studio filled with laughter, chatter, and the gentle hum of creativity. The tables are set, paints in every color imaginable, brushes, and blank canvases waiting to be transformed. The bride-to-be and her closest friends gather around, aprons on, ready to unleash their Picasso talents.

The session begins with a fun, lighthearted moment, where each person shares what they love about the bride. This sets a warm and joyful tone, as everyone celebrates their friendship and the upcoming wedding. Then, it’s time to get creative!

The group is guided by none other than our Principal Artist, Mei Ho, who encourages everyone to express themselves freely, whether they are seasoned artists or total beginners. The theme for the art session? A piece that represents love, friendship and the special bond they share.

As they paint, there’s a steady flow of fun music, snacks and drinks. The atmosphere is filled with encouragement and playful banter, with everyone complimenting each other’s artwork and offering light-hearted tips.

At the end of the session, it is all about celebrating the bride and their precious friendships. The sessions become a beautiful keepsake the bride will treasure forever.

Before leaving, there is a final group photo, everyone holding up their masterpieces, smiling brightly - a perfect momento of a day filled with creativity, love and friendship.

Recently an English man who has been working in Singapore requested to learn Chinese painting and calligraphy on a private basis. This is the result. Painting on the left and practice on the right. Not bad for a non-native speaker first timer.

We love supporting young artists who follow their dream.

Done by an aspiring young artist, this big piece of artwork in our late Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s image is sitting in our gallery. He admired Mr Lee so much he wanted to capture his likeness. The amazing thing about the piece is that it is done with strings and nails. Zoom in closer and have a look.

Back by popular demand, Heartroom Gallery is delighted to announce that we are having another free sketching session and book launch with our watercolour artist Tam Kwan Yuen.

You will learn how to sketch and paint urban architecture. Let your creative juices flow! Contact Mei at 96727849 to register yourself. Hurry as there are only 25 slots available.

We are extremely honored to have our Principal Artist, Mei Ho and her student, Joyce Chong featured together in this meaningful and exciting presentation, Home Is Where The Heart is.

The first in Singapore - marrying both visual arts and music set to choral works surrounding the themes of Unity, Love, Hope and Dreams, the VOS Singers will be presenting the works this coming Saturday at the beautiful National Gallery.

Supported by the National Arts Council Singapore and Voices of Singapore, tickets are unfortunately all sold out.
