Here’s the clarified, fact-checked explanation based on HDB-related guidance:

• HDB’s registration (RRCS) is meant for contractors doing the actual renovation work, not specifically for interior designers. 

• Interior designers typically don’t carry out the physical works themselves—they outsource to subcontractors. 

• Therefore, an ID firm does not need to be HDB-registered, as long as the contractors performing the renovation are HDB-registered.

(For clarity, HDB licensing is not required for interior design firms. Nonetheless, all works under our projects are carried out by HDB-registered contractors to ensure full regulatory compliance.)
