Good design, tripled. 🏆

We came to celebrate one SG Mark win each for Murex, Manulife Financial Advisers and ComfortDelGro. We left with three plaques, a full camera roll and plenty to talk about on the way home.

The awards recognise three very different workplaces, shaped by many questions, decisions and people who cared enough to keep refining the answer.

And while the plaques have earned their place, the real story continues elsewhere. It unfolds every morning, when people walk into these spaces, find somewhere to focus or talk and get on with their day.

Our Managing Director, Brendan Khor, joined Mapletree's Chairman Edmund Cheng, Group CEO Hiew Yoon Khong, and fellow tenant leaders on stage at An Evening with Mapletree: Mid-Autumn Festival 2026, held at Mapletree Business City 🥮.

Now in its fourth year, the event brought together over 600 employees, tenants and members of the Alexandra Precinct community, alongside a calligraphy display and artwork contest, a reminder of what thoughtful workplace design brings to a precinct like this.

Congratulations to Mapletree on another year of bringing the precinct together, and thank you for having us on stage.

From the workplace to the wider design community.

The Murex APAC Headquarters, Manulife Financial Advisers Pte Ltd office, and ComfortDelGro Headquarters are now featured at the SG Mark 2026 Winners Exhibition at Funan.

Recognised with the Singapore Good Design Mark 2026 by Design Business Chamber Singapore, the three projects reflect different workplace priorities, from supporting connection, wellbeing, and adaptability to enabling focus, interaction, and growth.

The exhibition brings together winning designs from across nine categories, offering the public an opportunity to experience how good design can enhance everyday life.

A brief tells you what a client thinks they need. It rarely tells you why.

"250 employees, evolving ways of working" reads like a fact. To Wendy Tan, it's a prompt: evolving how, and for who? The real project usually isn't in the document, it's in the gap between what's written and what's actually driving the decision.

For Murex APAC Headquarters, the workplace needed to do both. As a global fintech organisation, Murex required an environment capable of supporting deep concentration, complex problem-solving, and seamless collaboration across teams and regions.

The design response brought these needs together — creating a space built for connection, innovation, and growth 💡, where focused work and collaboration coexist.

🐊 How do you bring a globally recognised retail identity into the workplace without letting the brand overpower the way people work?

That was one of the central questions behind Lacoste's new Bangkok office.

Within a compact 2,863 sq ft floor plate, the workplace needed to support a growing team, frequent stakeholder visits, focused work, and informal collaboration. The response began with how the organisation actually operates:

📍 Visitor-facing spaces are positioned near the entrance
🖥️ Workstations and enclosed offices sit deeper within the plan
☕ The dry pantry doubles as an informal collaboration setting
🔒 A multifunctional locker wall combines storage, merchandise display, spatial separation, and brand expression in one move

The result is a workplace where brand identity and workplace performance reinforce one another. 🤝

Conexus Studio Kuala Lumpur office has been awarded Silver at the FRAME Awards, evaluated by an international jury of design leaders alongside more than 1,000 entries submitted from studios all over the world.

Workplaces are shaped by how people move, meet, and work together. For ComfortDelGro, the workplace needed to support all three — with spatial strategies designed for movement, interaction, and adaptability.

Every detail was considered through the lens of the people who would use the space each day, from circulation and lighting to spatial planning that supports both collaboration and focused work. The result is an environment that flows naturally 🌿, adapting to day-to-day routines while creating space for connection.
