Guangzhou Sourcing Trip | Day 2 & 3

Day 2 and 3 were all about covering more ground at the fair — walking through as much as we could, looking, comparing, filtering, and trying to understand what is actually worth bringing back for our projects in Singapore.

We also did our LIVE on Instagram and TikTok from 11am to 1.30pm, and honestly, it was such a refreshing experience.

Talking continuously while walking through the fair, sharing what we saw, explaining what caught our eye, and having people respond along the way made the whole trip feel even more meaningful.

After the fair, we visited a Guangzhou designer showroom to view their latest furniture collection. They also had their own fashion brand, which made the whole space feel even more considered — not just furniture, but a full design language.

Thoughtful forms.
Beautiful textures.
Interesting colours.
Details that made us pause.

We ended the day the only way tired designers should — cafes, coffee, and a much-needed massage.

Super packed, super fruitful, and honestly, very inspiring.

Guangzhou Sourcing Trip | Day 1

Started the day the only right way — a proper meal and Starbucks coffee before entering the trade fair chaos.

And wow. It was crowded.

So many people, so many booths, so many products, and yes — so many people doing live at the trade show too.

There were lots of beautiful things. Textures, colours, finishes, details… the kind that makes us stop, touch, stare, and immediately think:

“Can we bring this back to Singapore?”

But also, not everything is suitable for Singapore homes or local usage. So the real work is not just seeing pretty things — it is filtering, checking, understanding, and curating what actually makes sense for our projects and homeowners.

Day 1 already reminded us why we are doing this.

To find better options.
To bring back more interesting materials and pieces.
To curate things that feel beautiful, practical, and worth it.
