Designed around a long and linear layout, this home embraces natural light as one of its defining features. With windows on both ends of the house, light is able to move freely through the space from morning to evening, creating an environment that feels bright, airy and constantly connected to the outdoors.
To further enhance this openness, elements such as glass blocks, soft blinds, and reflective surfaces were thoughtfully introduced throughout the home. These layers help diffuse and bounce light gently across the interiors, making the space feel even more expansive while maintaining a soft and calming atmosphere.
The owners were especially drawn to warm terracotta tones, which became a key part of the home’s identity. Paired with gentle arches and airy wood textures, the palette brings warmth and character into the space while keeping the overall look relaxed and welcoming. The result is a home that feels light-filled and Mediterranean-inspired, without feeling overly styled or excessive.
Beyond aesthetics, the home was also designed around the rhythms of family life. Thoughtful built-ins were integrated throughout the space to support everyday living, including retractable stairs designed with the little one in mind, balancing functionality and playfulness within the home.
