Survivalist is the first indie title that Vortex Corporation is releasing. It is a survival simulation game where you are a player stranded on a deserted island with limited resources, and your ability to escape and survive the ordeal is entirely up to your own survival instincts. We hope that players will understand how much more difficult it is to even meeting basic everyday necessities when you are outside the shelters of civilization. For example, the basic requirement of water. The sun is shining strong down on you, you are dehydrated and dizzy, seawater is a no-no, you have no idea what lies inside the depths of the tropical island. As such, even hydrating yourself becomes a life-and-death matter.
---Vortex Simulations--
Vortex Simulations is embarking on a research project in predicting aircraft visibility in the various electromagnetic spectrums when obstructed by various types of clouds formed under specific weather conditions remains one of the important yet uncompleted milestones of the aerospace defence sector. Visibility is important in searching for, locating, and destroying aerial, ground and sea targets, but more often than not the presence of clouds that significantly reduces visibility and interrupts tracking systems elevates the risk of such missions significantly, especially when engaged by multiple targets who are better able to coordinate and have the advantage of having multiple sources of information on the battlefield. Our research project aims to simulate the different cloud types present in the atmosphere so as understand the visual problems caused by the presence of clouds on aircraft better.
