Founded in 2019, Grains and Such is a Singapore-based film lab dedicated to bringing analogue photographs to life with care and precision.

Located at Beauty World Centre, it offers colour and black-and-white film development, high-quality Noritsu and Frontier scanning, photo printing, and a curated selection of film stocks for both new and experienced photographers.

To complement the lab’s thoughtful approach to image-making, Shiok Lighting provided a considered lighting scheme for its new space. From illuminating the main counter and film drop-off point to creating a soft, atmospheric glow throughout the shop, each fixture helps shape a welcoming environment where photography, craft, and light naturally come together.
