At House 4MT, the primary bedroom was crafted for restoration. We leaned into a palette of soft sands, tactile linens, taupe tencel rug to create a sensory cocoon that lets the hustle of the day melt away. The whiskey brass wall lamps cast a warm intimate glow in the evenings to signal an intentional choice to rest. ip

House 4MT: Primary Bedroom Wardrobe
Where the act of getting ready in the morning is a source of silent stress, we imagine what the frustration must feel like. It is the unnecessary mental chaos of navigating clutter, inefficient layout and insufficient storage that we know can easily derail us even on the best of days.
Instead, we seek to transform fragmented spaces into a sanctuary. Where the design lies beyond choosing tactile materials and bespoke details, we are solving for intangibles like light, flow and comfort.

House 4MT: Primary Bathroom
For many, the bathroom is a site of friction, poorly lit, and visual clutter borne out of a weak layout and lack of storage. At SLI, we believe your most private sanctuary should offer ease and not leave you depleted. Rich materials, tactile fixtures and ergonomic flow come together to ensure every inch is crafted for a room that restores. After all, your day begins and ends here.

House 4MT: Attic Lounge & Bar
On the attic floor of this semi-detached house, SLI was engaged to reorganize the layout, create more flow and introduce tactile richness in this informal entertainment area. The space feels private, almost restful yet highly practical and accommodates a range of interests including a set of drums in the corner (not photographed)!!
So immensely proud of the team that worked on pulling this together.

House 4MT:
Our approach to designing homes at SLI is to always listen, ask questions, listen more, interrogate, learn, iterate and ultimately get as close to what matters to our clients. It is often a clarifying journey for those who want to lean into our process. In House 4MT, SLI was engaged early in the build that allowed us to respond to the site and integrate our cohesive aesthetic throughout from architectural features like the curved walls and stairs to the furniture selection process, ultimately delivering a timeless and layered finished home.

HOUSE 4MT: The kitchen island clad in Fior de Pesco marble frames a vista from various angles of this reconstructed semi-detached house. The fluid organic veins and expressive curves lend flair to this revived space. ip studio

PH 526
View of the breakfast bar dry kitchen island. While this looks like it’s always been here, the truth is this was a slightly awkward space to begin with. We converted the previous dining room (too small for 8-10 seating) into a convivial island space that anchors the flow around the kitchen, living and bedrooms. So happy our clients leaned into this vision of finding opportunities in challenging spaces- truly an SLI signature. ip studio

PH 526 Kitchen
Our second project for a client who we worked with the first time back before COVID so we never got to photograph their first home. It is always so special when clients return and want us to work on their next home. Our philosophy from the start when I first started the studio was to bring us closer to clients who understand our process, our dedication to detailing and deep appreciation for our experience in creating transformational spaces that tell their home story. Enjoy this gorgeous space which was beautifully captured by .ip and styled by .studio in matter of minutes 🚀

PH526 Primary bedroom
Charming, fresh and functional. So many layers of finishes and elements coming together to lend depth and meaning to a space.
This project also taught us many lessons on fengshui in a home. Will share more on the next upcoming post!
