ore. Established on May 5, 2011, ARID started out as an office interior design consultancy firm under the name ARID + Associates. The desire to be a turn-key commercial contractor prompted the organization to re-brand and change its name to ARID Builders Pte Ltd (UEN no. 201304240Z) to reposition itself to be a design and build company offering office & retail renovations. Since 2013, ARID has been working on numerous office designs and retail shop renovation projects ranging from 1000 to 25,000sq.ft as of this year ARID Builders has already completed more than 320,000sq.ft of office and retail space. The market for office design and build in Singapore has been constantly growing due to the increase in new developments in office and retail space availability in the CBD and the steady uptrend of light industrial developments in Singapore. We take pride in being a Bizsafe3 and Building Construction Authority (BCA) registered contractor in Singapore. We ensure that we keep a track record (Form-D) of all our projects to comply with the BCA accreditation guidelines. Due to the recent changes in the office interior design landscape brought about by the rise of co-working spaces and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, ARID has acquired new investment and has pivoted to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) as its core business thus strengthening our commitment to helping control the spread of viruses, airborne pathogens and control indoor air pollutants.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing today at the World Cities Summit held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore! The consortium aims to build , , and buildings to transform the built environment sector.

ARID is honoured to be one of the co-founding members of the Healthy Building Consortium (HBC) supported by Enterprise Singapore. HBC aims to collectively promote homegrown innovative technologies and smart building solutions that will be showcased to building owners or property managers across the globe. The MoU has been inked today by HBC comprising six consortium members namely uHoo, ARID Indoor Air Solutions, Gush (HBC lead), GreenA Consultants, IFSC Pte Ltd and Smarten Spaces.

The consortium's array of and building solutions are also exhibited at the Enterprise Singapore booth (July 31 to August 2, 2022) at the World Cities Summit.

The World Cities Summit is an exclusive platform for government leaders and industry innovators to address societal and environmental challenges, share innovative solutions and develop new partnerships. Organized by Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC) and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA), key highlights of the Summit include the WCS Mayors Forum, and the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize, and the WCS Young Leaders Symposium.
