CREAM is a full-service design firm with well over 300 projects under our belt, dedicated to using a thoughtful and hands-on approach to create an environment that is refined, delightful, and truly livable for its dwellers. Whether it is a small apartment refresh, a grand full-scale home built up from the ground, the remodel of a retail store or the conceptualizing of an entire hospital wing, we are always committed to provide our clients with superior service and a process of collaboration that yields the highest level of creativity and efficiency. Our fee structure is straightforward and vary by project and the level of involvement required – after the initial consultation or onsite walk is done and design brief established, we’ll put pen to paper and draft a proposal detailing the job scope. For clients who may not require the entire scope of design-and-build service, we also offer design-only consultation & styling services.

Built for everyday living — that was the intent behind the amenity-level works at The Sail @ Marina Bay.

In a 1,111-unit inner-city development, shared spaces have to work hard, all day, for very different users. CREAM’s task was to make these floors more usable, more attractive, and easier to maintain — without disrupting daily operations.

We reactivated the wellness and activity zones with warmer lighting and feature walls, refreshed the gym with a stronger focal point, and gave the games corner a clearer identity. Finishes, joinery and detailing were selected for heavy circulation and long-term upkeep, so the spaces stay solid and presentable even with weekday traffic.

These are the quieter upgrades that residents feel most — the places where they exercise, wait, work, or meet neighbours.

At The Sail @ Marina Bay, our objective was clear: maximise impact in the spaces residents, visitors and tenants touch every day, and do it without unnecessary replacement. This upgrade exercise focused on strengthening what already worked, resolving circulation issues, and elevating first impressions.

Key interventions included:
• redefining the drop-off under the glass canopy while retaining the original structure,
• giving the retail podium a clearer identity with wave-like ceiling fins,
• refining lobby and reception zones so the arrival experience reads as hospitality-grade.

The result is a refreshed, future-maintainable development that respects the council’s budget parameters while still meeting the expectations of a distinguished Marina Bay address.

Appreciation to EdgeProp Singapore for spotlighting the upgrade works at The Sail @ Marina Bay, a project that reflects the scale and complexity of condominium developments CREAM — led by William Goh, founder and director of CREAM — undertakes in Marina Bay and the CBD.

CREAM was appointed as the design-and-build partner to refresh shared and public-facing areas in a live, 1,111-unit development. The brief was firm: retain what still performed well, resolve pain points, and direct the budget to spaces residents, tenants and visitors use daily.

Works covered the driveway and drop-off under the glass canopy, the retail podium with new wave-like fins, the tower lobbies with warmer feature walls, and selected high-level amenity floors. Materials and detailing were chosen for long-term maintenance, and for the traffic that comes with a Marina Bay address.
