Step into this calm, earthy sanctuary… a home that is closest to my personal aesthetic.
When this client first reached out to me, she was distressed.
She had just finished renovating her home, yet something felt off. It looked plain. Drab. Like it hadn’t quite captured her. She was perturbed and that’s when she first contacted me.
What made this project special was her fine taste — she already owned some beautiful furniture and wooden artifacts that carried so much soul. My job was to style around these pieces, elevate them by adding key elements, and turn the newly renovated space into a home that finally felt like her.
This one was different.
Normally I visualise a space from scratch. Here, I had to work backwards.
And because she’s a firm believer in Vaastu, I had to work within a fixed colour palette for the very first time.
It was a beautiful challenge… and I’m so proud of how it all came together.

✨ Transforming a young dreamer’s space into her own grown-up sanctuary ✨
When a vibrant young girl told me she was ready to leave the “little kid” vibes behind and wanted a bedroom that truly reflected her love for elegant mauve and rich purples, I knew exactly where to begin.
We started with this stunning wallpaper — a sophisticated, non-childish print in her favourite tones that brings depth, personality, and that perfect balance of modern and dreamy. It instantly elevated the entire room and set the mood she was craving.
Next came the star of the show: her custom-made bed in the most beautiful, rich mauve upholstery. Soft, luxurious, and completely tailored to her taste — it’s where she’ll unwind, read, and recharge in style.
To tie everything together, we added thoughtful details:
• A chic table lamp with warm, ambient lighting that creates the coziest glow for evening reads.
• A sleek book cabinet that showcases her growing collection with pride — functional yet beautiful.
• And a gorgeous ottoman in a bold ikkat print, adding that perfect pop of pattern, texture, and cultural charm while giving her extra seating and style.

This room now feels like her — mature, confident, creative, and unapologetically purple-loving 💜

✨ Welcome to this beautiful new reveal! ✨
This home started as a complete blank canvas — and honestly, those are my absolute favorite. I’m so grateful for clients who instantly connect with the vision, trust the process, and let the magic unfold. This project was pure joy from day one.
Since it’s a rental, we couldn’t touch the structure, but we poured our hearts into creating a space that feels like a true home — quiet elegance meets warm modern Indian charm. Timeless, layered, and full of soul.
We lovingly upcycled two of their most cherished pieces — that beautiful armchair and the hutch — giving them a fresh new life that honors their story while blending seamlessly with the new design.

From a simple, functional space to a warm and inviting sanctuary — we’re absolutely loving this guest bedroom refresh!
Adding a fabric border panel above the bed headboard brings an elegant touch and totally elevates the room, while the thoughtful lighting from the bedside lamps and the blush pink curtains creates the perfect cozy ambiance.
What a difference a few intentional changes can make! This room now feels like a peaceful retreat at the end of a long day. 🌸

Hello my lovelies! Did you miss me? Sorry for the absence. Let me start by giving you a closer look of the kitchen from our previous post. My client is a wizard in the kitchen, and especially with South Indian food. I’m so happy that these floor tiles reflect a South Indian touch. ✨ Living Room Transformation | Before & After ✨
When my clients first showed me this space, it had beautiful bones but felt heavy and dated. The clunky wooden panelling on the ceiling and walls made the room feel smaller and darker than it deserved to be.
The very first move we made? We completely flipped the orientation of the room — and it was an instant game changer! Suddenly the layout flowed naturally, light flooded in from the right direction, and the entire space opened up beautifully. Next we removed the heavy panelling from the walls and ceiling! Whoa! What a difference that made. We then added some gorgeous wallpaper and custom made furniture and decor.
Our goal was clear: create a contemporary, spacious living area while honouring the home’s original Indian ethos by preserving the warmth of those cherished collectibles that tell their family’s story.
The result? A lighter, brighter, and more functional space that feels modern yet deeply rooted in their Indian heritage.
Same soul. Fresh perspective. Timeless warmth.

✨ Study-Cum-Family Room Transformation by Om Sweet Home ✨
Take a look at this lovely before-and-after! ➡️
We transformed this once dark and slightly cramped study-family room into a bright, airy, and highly functional space that works beautifully for both work and family time.
Keeping the same footprint, we introduced crisp white custom cabinetry, smart storage solutions, a spacious L-shaped wooden desk, a wall-mounted TV, and comfortable family-friendly zones — including a cosy window seat, a plush pink recliner, and a matching sofa.
We even added a soft floral wallpaper accent wall to bring in warmth and personality.
The result? A light-filled, organised, and welcoming room that truly feels like home. 💛

We had the pleasure of refreshing this bathroom for a lovely elderly couple who wanted a space that felt safer, brighter, and more comfortable for their daily routines.
Before: The original layout had a heavy, dark vanity, limited natural light feel, and a few accessibility challenges that made daily use less convenient.
After: We transformed it into a light, airy, and senior-friendly sanctuary! Key updates include:
• A fresh, clean white vanity with a spacious vessel sink
• Beautiful patterned tiles that add gentle character without overwhelming the space.
• Anti-slip floor tiles for safety yet not compromising on looks.
• Enhanced safety features with sturdy grab bars and a more open, walk-in shower layout
• Brighter overall ambiance with better lighting and reflective surfaces
• Simplified, clutter-free design that’s easy to maintain
The couple can now enjoy a bathroom that’s not only beautiful but also practical and safe for years to come. ❤️
