Nidhi Jain - Interior - Architecture Leveraging different cultures to create an environment that is inviting & comfortable. Specializing in Commercial and Residential Design.

Founder and Principal Architect Nidhi Jain and Partner Emily Loberg Started this company in 2012. This camaraderie has since then expanded their Design portfolio in Hospitality and Residential Design. We are a team of curious people trying to soak in knowledge every day, to bring in designs which are better and more efficient than yesterday. We don't put ourselves within the realms of a particular

style of design; as we believe that each design has to be a “new experience” since it's a mix of our knowledge and the Client’s personality. We spend a great deal of time and effort in understanding our client’s wishes and styles to create an experience they truly enjoy. With our decades of experience working with Boutique Hotels, Residential Clients, Restaurant owners and boutique offices and stores, in India, Singapore, Maldives and Thailand we have developed a system which is not just efficient but fully believes in our 1 ON 1 interaction with our clients.

Home.
I’ve realised the little ritual of making my bed every morning is less about perfection… and more about peace.

In between the school bus rush, coffee bubbling on the hob, unanswered messages, and the last-minute fluffing of cushions and duvet covers — I still take those extra two minutes to make my bed nicely dressed..

Because after a long day of meetings, site visits, decisions and chaos, coming back to a bedroom that quietly says “welcome back” feels like a luxury in itself.

A well-designed home is not only about aesthetics. It’s about creating moments that reset you. 🤍

What if you didn’t need to renovate everything to transform your home?

This project is exactly that.

No major hacking.
No unnecessary demolition.
Just thoughtful design decisions that completely shifted how the space feels.
The result is a luxury interior design outcome that feels intentional, warm and deeply personal—without unnecessary intervention.

Because good design isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things.

Not every transformation begins with demolition.

This landed home in Serangoon was reimagined without major civil work—yet the experience of the space feels entirely new.

As a residential interior designer in Singapore, we often see that the most meaningful changes don’t come from tearing everything down, but from understanding how a home should feel.

Here, we focused on:
– redefining the entry as an arrival
– introducing scale through a double-height feature wall
– using lighting as a sculptural element
– layering materials to elevate everyday living

The result is a luxury interior design outcome that feels intentional, warm and deeply personal—without unnecessary intervention.

Because good design isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things.

BEFORE AFTER RENO - I know you all love a good before & after… and this one was a journey ✨

Sharing how the space came to me—and what it became.
1. The entry opened straight into the living, dining, and kitchen—everything visible at once, no pause, no moment.
2. We introduced double arches to create a sense of arrival… a gentle reveal instead of everything all at once.
3. The dining was dark, boxed in, with a heavy wooden screen.
4. We opened it up—raised the ceiling, changed the flooring, and brought in a bespoke hutch against a soft limewash green wall… suddenly, it breathes.
5. The bathroom was a predictable black-and-white situation 😉
6. We reimagined it with terracotta-toned walls, antique floor tiles, and double mirrors—keeping the upper walls painted above the dado for a quieter, more luxurious contrast.
7. The bedroom felt low, heavy, almost weighed down.
8. We lifted the ceiling by 2 feet—bringing it to 3.3m—then accentuated that height with black beading and full-height curtains. The room finally exhaled.

Sometimes, design isn’t about adding more… it’s about creating pauses, proportions, and a little bit of poetry in how a space unfolds.

Thank you for capturing the house and the emotions behind the house. Beautiful! And thank you and Alok for giving us this opportunity to design your beautiful home. I always remember the one line you said when you moved into the house on your first day … “ The house has Sukoon ( sense of peace ) in it ! “ and I knew my job was done well :) ! Happy new home to all of you 💕!

There’s a certain magia in Italian spaces- an effortless blend of craft, emotion, and atmosphere.
This moodboard captures that spirit through layered textures, warm hues, artisanal details, and lighting designed to create intimacy. It’s a vision of an Italian restaurant where design enhances conversation, cuisine, and experience.

Because when a space feels right, everything flows naturally.
