I had always found immense joy in dreaming and creating magic within the tips of my fingers, be it in the cozy nook in my room, or in a café with my fav cup of latté/ cappuccino ☕. However, starting an art biz was another thing altogether. To me, it was just a pipe dream I’d always fiddled with for a long time, yet has never gotten around doing. If you’d asked me why, prolly’ it was due to lack of courage or fear of failure.

This year, I had decided to do things a lil’ bit differently. After a certain amount of push from loved ones and plucking my courage, was born. After all, beyond the mundane nature of my ‘9 to 6 career’, crafting is a channel for me to express my creative flair and unwind at the end of a long day. 💞

So, here is a documentation of my journey as I steer this into the uncharted territory of an art venture. Will it work out? No one said starting a biz is easy. But I will never know the answer until I buckle down and try this out.

Loving yourself, sounds easy? But sometimes, it’s not as easy to do as it may sound. It requires us to accept all that we are: our strengths alongside with our shortcomings. You know… the part of us which we tend to hide from the world – it can be a stubborn streak, low self-esteem, prideful nature, less-than-glorious experiences, and so many more! 😳

However, as we come to terms with those things which we cannot change, do you know that it can be a powerful tool to be reckoned with, the very thing that makes you unique? 💕💋

So… the question I want you to think about today is, how vulnerable are you today? 💭

The famous poet & writer Mary Angelou once said, “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I can’t help but to agree. Similar to the concept of practice makes perfect, I believe in putting in our 110% effort to create the best art piece each and every time, and that is how I will continue to hone on my crafting expertise.

While focusing on crafting niche items which screams ”uniquely-you”, I would love to take up the challenge from time to time to help you customize kids’ , clothes or handcrafted trinkets which are one-and-only-in-the-world.

In my years growing up, I was never stunningly beautiful or incredibly talented. Even right up till now, I can tell you that I still do not belong to any of those categories. This wrong belief has mistakenly cost me years of self-esteem and robbed away my joy. It led me to believe that I am not worthy.

It takes so much convincing (mostly) on my part before I could reconcile with the fact that I am more than enough, that I am more than worthy to be loved. After all, I am immensely loved by the One, and hereby lies my new-found identity. 💌

Does anyone of you feel this way too; you think that you have to be smarter, more beautiful, etc to be loved? Let me tell you that it is far from the truth.
