We get asked many times which is better for baking of macarons
Some bakers/ youtubers prefer the use of silicone mats, and they have many successful attempts. We have not tried baking macarons on silicone mat so we can't comment much on this
However, we try to keep things as simple as possible so u can replicate the bakes at home without the hassle of sourcing or having additional tools that might end up in one corner of the kitchen. With this, baking paper has always been our choice of use for macarons baking
Our macaron workshop on the 2nd Jan is filling up fast! So do register your seats soon to avoid disappointment. Link in bio - A❤

Learning Objectives:

1. Prepare lemon curd (demo)
2. Prepare a basic shortcrust pastry
3. Mould and bake tart shells
4. Fill tarts to appropriate amount for decorations
5. Decorate tarts to theme:
A) Colour and prepare chocolate
B) Mould and cut fondant to shape

Bring home:
- 6 completed tart in box
- printed recipe
