This galley kitchen is designed with precision and restraint. A linear configuration maximises efficiency, keeping circulation clear while maintaining generous counter space on both sides. The layout prioritises workflow, ensuring the kitchen performs as seamlessly as it presents.

Muted grey shaker cabinetry introduces depth without visual heaviness. Matte black hardware reinforces the industrial language, while the light-toned flooring and white subway backsplash maintain Scandinavian clarity.

A Quiet Nordic Home

The dining is conceived as an architectural intervention rather than a standalone piece of furniture.

This customised multi-functional island acts as the central spine of the home, integrating preparation, storage, appliances, and casual dining into a single, resolved volume. By consolidating functions, the layout remains visually disciplined and spatially efficient.

Material continuity is intentional.
Concrete textures extend from the living area, reinforcing cohesion across zones. Black-framed glazing introduces structure and definition, allowing separation without enclosure. Warm pendant lighting tempers the industrial palette, ensuring the space remains tactile and inviting despite its precision.

First impressions matter,and this foyer was designed to do more than just welcome. Concealing the household shelter entrance and shoe storage behind a full height feature wall, the space balances practicality with visual impact. The textured laminate panels introduce depth and warmth, while the slim black detailing adds a quiet industrial rhythm against a soft Scandinavian backdrop.

The result? A clean, understated entrance that feels intentional rather than utilitarian. In a typical 4 room HDB layout, functionality is essential, but it doesn’t have to be obvious. Here, storage disappears into design, and structure becomes statement.
