So, what exactly is M.O.D?

M.O.D stands for Ministry Of Dreams — but the story behind it started long before the name.

Our journey began in 2017, when we opened Dreams Studio in Ubi with a simple focus on helping customers find the right mattress. In 2019, we expanded to IMM and gradually grew beyond bedding into sofas and dining — the essential pieces that turn a house into a home.

Over the years, one thing became increasingly clear to us:

No two homes are the same. Neither are the people living in them.

Different spaces. Different lifestyles. Different preferences for comfort, design and function.

So instead of asking our customers to compromise and choose the closest available option, we began working with manufacturers who could give us something different — the ability to create around the customer.

That evolution became M.O.D

Today, our philosophy is built around three ideas:

Matters Over Dreams
Rethinking the way mattresses are made, with greater flexibility and personalisation. Our new customisable mattress concept is coming in September 2026.

My Own Design
A sofa concept that puts the choices in your hands — from size, configuration and design to comfort, features and upholstery.

Made On Demand
Our sofas, bedframes and mattresses are freshly made for each customer, giving you a greater say in what goes into your home.

Because we believe your furniture shouldn't simply be the best fit available.

For the past 6 years, you have known us as Dreams Studio.

What started as a dream in 2019 has grown and evolved with every customer we've met, every home we've been part of, and everything we've learnt along the way.

Today, we're excited to finally introduce the next chapter of our journey.

Dreams Studio is now M.O.D.

Bespoke Living, Made On Demand.

M.O.D represents where we're heading — a more personalised approach to furniture, with greater freedom to choose, customise and create something that truly fits the way you live.

We're not moving far. In fact, we've moved just next door. 😊

Leather is a popular sofa upholstery option due to its durability, comfort, and aesthetic appeal. But, several leather types exist, each with unique characteristics.

🛋️ Full-grain leather: Full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable sofa leather. It's the most natural-looking option since it retains the animal's markings. It's also breathable, comfortable to sit on, and doesn't get hot or sticky.

🛋️ Top-grain leather: Top-grain leather is a good sofa option made from the second layer of the animal's hide. It's sanded to remove imperfections, but not as durable as full-grain leather. It has a more uniform appearance and is more affordable.

🛋️ Split-grain leather: Split-grain leather is less durable than full-grain and top-grain leather. It's often used for sofa back and sides since it's not as strong but still looks good.

🛋️ Bonded leather: Made from glued leather scraps and coated with polyurethane, bonded leather is the least expensive sofa leather type. However, it's not as durable as full-grain or top-grain leather and lacks a natural look, sometimes feeling artificial.
