Panel / Cedric Jaccard, Design Principal & Co-founder of Avalon Collective, joins an esteemed panel of industry leaders at the International Global Design & Development Confluence 2026, organised by Hotelier India.
The session, Beyond Décor: Light & Art as Strategic Design Assets, will explore how light, art, and thoughtful design have evolved beyond aesthetics to become integral to storytelling, guest experience, and brand identity.

By day, it serves as a light-filled sanctuary for tea and breakfast. By night, the interior transforms into an intimate hideaway, low-ceilinged, warm, and cocooned, evoking a barn-like bar tucked discreetly from the city.

People / Lin Xia, a provincial-level representative inheritor of Taizhou embroidery, created a stunning woven installation that dominates the lobby reception wall. The artwork merges silk with natural driftwood and fibers, evoking the gentle fall of raindrops along misty eaves. Woven from 580,000 meters of silk thread, the piece took 20,000 hours to complete.
