Had the opportunity to do a simple makeover with & we also had the pleasure of making sure Nenek felt comfortable throughout the process. We also replaced her kitchen sink cabinet as it wasn't in great shape. As much as we love the next project, we also love our clients like Nenek as if she's our own ❤️

The assignment was Mid-century but make it modern & bright 🌞 ✨️

On carpentry installation day, the ID is required to be stationed on-site. This is vital as to achieve a smooth delivery without any delays 🫶

If you're not one to splurge on a bathroom, here's how to spruce it up without breaking the bank :)

1. Reuse HDB tiles provided and ask your neighbour if they're throwing them out. We also spotted few disposed tiles at the lobby.

2. Build a low wall and basin ledge. FYI low wall comes with a shampoo niche!

3. Overlay mirror wall with Hafary Tiles of your choice. Here we budgeted around $200 for the tiles. We spent less.

4. Ask your tiler for sample of the tile profiling. Here we went with PVC tile trim as our client has a beautiful active 3 yo 👦

5. Recommended tile pointing gap is usually 1.5mm as we want to see less of the cement color grout. Either match the tile color or just go with a light grey

6. Option to engage carpenter for vanity cabinet OR build another ledge for open storage just below the basin bottle trap.

Note: This design requires a top mount basin & tall tap.
