A Facebook feed for the stream of delectable consciousness serving out of Ade's kitchen. With a fiery stove and industrial-sized woks in my backyard "office," nothing makes me happier than family and friends tucking into my food with gusto. By donating all the sales of Kanashiok! (including my time and ingredient costs) to help all who are in need, my wish is to turn eating into feats of kindness.

Thanks to all your big hearts and happy bellies, KanaShiok has yet again donated sales from the last batch to two wonderfully worthy causes: Dementia Singapore, the country’s leading social service agency in specialized dementia care and caregiver support; and to sponsoring nine respectable caskets for the needy in Chiang Mai, Thailand. A very, very venerated appreciation for my Buddhist supporters from my Vegetarian Speciale! Your kindness has been transformed into flower and garland offerings at Sri Senpagar Vinayagar Temple (the most historic Ganesha temple in Singapore) for the sacred annual festival of Mahotsavam, Wat Sriboonluang in Thailand to support their pali and education programs, and Fu En Vihara, a new dharma center in Singapore.
