If your room feels flat, even after decorating, it is almost never a colour problem.

It is a texture problem.

Colour catches the eye. Texture holds it. It is the difference between a room that looks good in photos and one that feels good to be in.
The easiest way to add warmth to any space: introduce one new fabric that contrasts with what you already have. Boucle against smooth leather. Velvet against linen. Woven against polished.
