ROBE lighting is excited to be returning to one of the world’s liveliest and most dynamic entertainment epicentres for the 2026 PLASA trade expo at Olympia London next week, where the team is looking forward to meeting a diversity of lighting and production professionals working across all industry sectors.

PLASA’s buzz and vibes are a perfect setting for Robe to reveal five brand new inventive moving light and LED products, and to showcase its other latest technologies – on Stand A70 - alongside its partner businesses, Avolites, Anolis, LSC Control Systems and Artistic Licence Engineering Ltd.

Robe products launched at PLASA 2026 are the Arianne 4 and Arianne 12 which expand the Arianne multisource LED IP65 series of fixtures following the launch of Arianne 2 and Arianne 6 earlier this year, making a complete family. Features include the 55W RGB Lime LED multichip source that seriously makes the colours pop, keeping everyone fully in the limelight!

Also launched is the LEDBeam 400, the iT10 Profile and the mySVOPATT – a new version of the unique SVOPATT luminaire - now with pan and tilt.

Lighting designer Rachel Marlow of Auckland-based visual design studio Filament Eleven 11 used ROBE lighting T11 Profile and T11 Fresnel luminaires at The Court Theatre in Christchurch, New Zealand, where she lit two new productions in succession at the end of 2025 and start of 2026.

The new venue is part of Christchurch's earthquake recovery plan – enacted after the devastating 2011 event – which saw it completely rebuilt, and opened in May 2025, complete with the Robe T11s on the house lighting rig.

The shows were The King’s Speech, the inspiring story of how King George VI found his voice based on the Academy Award-winning film, which ran for 4 weeks and was followed by blockbuster musical 9 to 5: The Musical, featuring the music and lyrics of Dolly Parton, so two completely contrasting works.

The theatre had just taken delivery of 50 new Robe T11 fixtures, 30 x T11 Profiles and 20 x T11 Fresnels, which are now part of the house lighting rig. As the two productions required completely different aesthetic approaches and treatments when it came to lighting, the T11s proved their versatility and suitability for theatre.

Following landmark performances at the Eiffel Tower and during the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, French artist and music producer Michael Canitrot brought his artistic vision to another of the world’s most iconic monuments: the Statue of Liberty.

Collaborating with show director Romain Pissenem from High Scream, and lighting designer Ian Tomlinson, Michael became the first DJ ever to perform at the Statue of Liberty in Upper New York Bay with Liberty Lights, a unique production created as part of the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of American independence.

ROBE lighting was super proud to be part of the art with iBOLT, MegaPointe, and iSpiiderX luminaires.
