There’s something I really love about the small, personal pieces, a single preserved rose, a name written across it, tied with a satin bow. Nothing elaborate, just something meant to be hers alone.

It’s a small thing, but it’s the kind of small thing that stays, clipped to a bag, sitting on a desk, carried around without much thought until someone notices it and asks where it’s from. That’s usually my favourite part.
