Today, the collection has grown to include custom-made wares, artisanal rugs, statement table accessories, mirrors, cushions, luxury home fragrances, and bespoke duvets. In Sept 2014, Arete Culture opened their 1st retail store in line with their vision of affordable luxe living. The store is a one stop home décor haven that carries an extensive range of elegant soft furnishings as well as established brands. Some homes are more than spaces. They hold the memories of a lifetime.

After 20 years, this penthouse at Amber Point was ready for a new beginning, thoughtfully reimagined while preserving the memories and stories that made it home.

Once enclosed by dark finishes and bulky partitions, the home was opened up to reveal something that had been waiting all along: light, space and an uninterrupted view of the waterway.

What emerged was more than a renovation. It was a true rebirth. A rejuvenated sanctuary where the couple could continue the next chapter of their lives, surrounded by the memories of raising their children and with space to create many more with their future generations.

Three homes. Eight years. And our third collaboration with Eugene.

What began years ago as a shared design journey has evolved into something far more meaningful! A relationship built on trust, understanding and a shared appreciation for beautiful, considered spaces.

For Scotts 28, we took on one of our biggest renovation and gut-renovation projects yet transforming an old, dated condominium into a home that feels beautiful, inviting and unmistakably personal.

From the initial concept and mood, to the renovation, sourcing, furniture, statement pieces and final styling, every detail was thoughtfully considered around Eugene’s needs, lifestyle and vision.

But beyond the transformation itself, Scotts 28 is a project that means so much more to us at Arete Culture.

It is a reminder that the most rewarding homes aren’t simply built from design ideas — they are built on relationships.
