One of the things I love most about running regular sessions is seeing ownership grow over time 🌸

When we first started this pressed flower frame activity, many of our senior participants came expecting to be taught.

Over the course of 2 weeks, with sessions running 3 days per week, we simply provided the space and materials, and something beautiful happened.

They started bringing their own materials, sharing ideas, and teaching fellow seniors how to create their own pressed flower pieces.

The connections and confidence just kept growing šŸ’›

Watching participants become teachers for one another is always one of the most meaningful parts of the journey.

Thank you .healthcare for having us!

When I started Hello Flowers!, I believed flowers could hold space for people who needed it most.

These sessions with the families from and confirmed it in ways I didn’t expect. Joy looks different in every youth. Even with those who are non-verbal. Love looks the same in every parent/ caregiver. And somehow, flowers meet both exactly where they are.

One of the children loved her bouquet so much, she carried it to bed to sleep with her. 🌹 I don’t think anything could have said it better than that.

Grateful beyond words for every single session. 🌸

Taking a pause in June before I embarked on other new series of community workshops.

A fulfilling preserved flowers workshop where we had a strong 80 pax of gorgeous strong and creative attendees.

Giving a Yay! to analogue activities without our digital devices. Take the time to handle the different flowers and learn techniques to arrange them to your liking.

We love how the attendees beamed with pride and joy with their masterpieces. 😊

In the past, I used to jump straight into teaching during workshops. I would follow the room’s energy and go straight into flowers, tips, techniques — all the head knowledge.
I was sooooo eager… and by the end, I’d be completely exhausted.

But over time, as I started seeing flowers as part of a therapeutic process, I began to start differently.

Now, I invite participants to arrive.
To slow down, and to a r r i v e.

It’s not always easy.
We’re not used to pausing like this.
But slowly, people settle in.

What followed was one of those mornings where hands were busy and conversations flowed, especially among colleagues who had mostly been meeting virtually.

By the end, we were all standing there with our bouquets, a little surprised, a little proud,
and affirming one another along the way.

One of them even said, ā€œbest workshop ever.ā€
And I think it’s because we made space for something more than just learning.
And honestly, I made space for myself too. I left feeling rejuvenated.

That’s what flowers can do. Not just something nice to look at, but a small moment to pause, connect, and be seen.

If this is something you’d like for your team,
we’re happy to hold that space.

For International Women’s Day, I chose these little wild blooms 🌼

They may look small on their own, and many times the work women do quietly goes unnoticed. But when we come together, our care, strength, and contributions create something beautiful — just like a bouquet of flowers.

Today we celebrate every woman and the many ways she helps the world bloom.

Happy International Women’s Day šŸ’›

Flowers can lift your mood in minutes. 🌸

Research from Rutgers University found that people who received flowers showed an immediate genuine smile — the kind that happens without thinking.

And the mood boost lasted for days.

Maybe that’s why flowers have always meant more than words.
A small gesture, but one that lingers.

Who in your life could use one today? šŸ’›

After weeks of Valentine’s and CNY orders,
arranging bouquets for everyone else’s feelings,

it’s nice to be back in the studio for a bit.

Taking a breather
before workshop and IWD season begins.

If you’re planning something meaningful for your team this IWD,
we’d love to create something together.
