Before the colour, before the lacquer, there is the sketch.

For Eugene Soh, 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 began with more than an iconic landmark. He saw Jewel as a place of shared memories and quiet connection, holding a special place in the hearts of many Singaporeans, and hoped the artwork would invite people to pause, reflect, and experience that same warmth and tranquillity.

A self-taught painter who found solace in art through his own journey of recovery, Eugene brings that same quiet reflection into every piece he creates.

Inspired by Singapore's vision as a City in Nature, Eugene's colourful interpretation reflects the harmony between our built environment and tropical landscape, while echoing the ever-changing colours of the Rain Vortex light show.
