LAANK

LAANK An interior architecture studio that adopts a gentler, purpose-driven approach based on mutual respect. We believe in giving people the space they need.

We don’t just design interiors, but shape positive processes and interactions that bring out the best in people. In a world where construction culture is brutal, sterile interiors are churned out by mass production, and design is driven by conflicting agendas, LAANK dares to adopt a gentler, purpose-driven approach based on mutual respect. Our interiors are living, breathing environments arising f

rom the intentions of people who create and use them. We believe buildings embody the energy we give them, from conception to collaboration to construction. Spaces are first and foremost, for humans. LAANK creates places and conversations that are beautiful for our clients, their customers and communities to live, work and play in. Follow us on Instagram:

The powder room is where the detail work continues.

Black reveals against cream joinery. Vessel basins that sit like objects, not fixtures. The counter curves under - a sense you feel before you notice it.

A smaller kiosk footprint for Chatterbox Express but the same sense of welcome as their flagship - warm light, gentle curves, and a counter that keeps the theatre of service visible.

Chatterbox Express has always been about comfort and consistency. Warm timber tones reference the original dining rooms. Backlit panels echo the quiet structure of its localised interiors.
Booth seating keeps the intimacy that regulars expect - even in transit.

For Chatterbox Express at Changi Airport, the essence of the brand’s familiarity has to travel well. We distilled a local institution into a smaller footprint - keeping the warmth, refined heritage and the quiet confidence of a brand that has fed many.

Inside the former Supreme Court, proportion does the talking - fluted columns, panelled walls, a quiet civic discipline. Against that backdrop, Rempapa frames local memory through the colours of food - Rendang, Teh, Kueh.

At Rempapa, within the former Supreme Court of Singapore at the National Gallery Singapore, the architecture does the heavy lifting.

Coffered ceilings, fluted columns, formal symmetry. It’s a space shaped by structure and history, holding Rempapa’s straits cuisine on its own.

Set within the colonnades of National Gallery Singapore, the space carries a certain civic weight. Fluted columns, measured light, the steady cadence of arches. Our approach for Rempapa’s interiors was not to compete with that language, but to sit within it.

Lakehouse and its original Tudor hammered timber column, kept intact. Its proportions and tactile grain remain the anchor, with new finishes layered quietly around it.

Design here is not about addition, but knowing precisely where to stop.

Designed in response to the Tudor bones of Lakehouse, the interiors are shaped by proportion, timber language, and measured light.

Set in Cameron Highlands, the space mirrors its surroundings - cool air, muted tones, and a sense of time stretching rather than moving.

For Lakehouse Cameron Highlands, the All Day Dining is shaped to hold time. Unhurried breakfasts, lingering conversations. A row of table, held in quiet alignment.

Timber framing, muted greens, and measured light draw from the language of Tudor architecture -
structural, composed, quietly domestic.
