Storytime…

I was hopelessly looking for the perfect coffee table for months, I didn’t know if I need one at all, because I had this huge ottoman that I used as a table, but! In the back of my mind I was constantly thinking that I need a table in the Living Room. Ok, what kind of, what material, shape, size, do I want one big, or two smaller tables, should it be wood, glass or stone? What color, what shape? Maybe it sounds funny but it is a very important decision. At least for me.

When I found this marble table on I thought okay, it looks nice, the color is beautiful, and it’s very cheap, a bit far away but let’s give it a try. After days of texting back and forth with the seller I decided to pay her a little extra, because there was someone else interested in it before me, I know it’s not very nice but when it’s about furniture and a good deal I am merciless.

So I picked it up, it is much bigger and heavier than I imagined and it turned out to be the deal of the year. You can see the same coffee table on all 4 photos, the difference is the environment (obviously). With this post I wanted to point out the importance of combining the right pieces in a right way. The same piece of furniture can look totally different in two different rooms. It’s also very important, or let’s say the most important to think about the details, collect the right pieces in the right colors and shapes and you’ll have a home that you love, just like I have.
