Arrived on site today and was so pleased to see the progress.

The stone facade has gone in around the flower beds and olive tree to soften the wall and bring a more natural feel to the space. 🌿 Thank you to for making my vision a reality…🙏

I love combining natural materials and colours to add texture and depth — stone, water and planting working together rather than competing with each other.

The dark feature wall will eventually have a small trickling fountain running down into the pool — the idea being to create a quiet, tranquil corner. 💧

Slowly coming together…will be available for rental very soon✨

The full picture.

The brief was to revive the sofa — in fabrics suited to the tropical climate. 🌿

Durable, UV-considered and made for humidity, but still with a modern twist and a lift of colour.

Texture, tone and longevity — designed for heat, light and long, lazy afternoons. ☀️

The frame was still strong.
It just needed rethinking.

The original outdoor cushions had seen too many seasons — stained, tired, ready to go. The rattan structure of the Sofa, however, was still in excellent condition. So we kept what worked and rebuilt what didn’t.

New cushions made in Sunbrella fabric — durable, water-resistant and designed to withstand UV, humidity and everyday life in the tropics.

A quieter kind of renovation.
Less waste. More longevity.

Now ready to head to the villa in Phuket.

Outdoor fabrics need to work harder in the tropics. ☀️

This is a technical, solution-dyed acrylic fabric — engineered to withstand UV exposure, humidity and mildew, with colour locked into the fibre itself for long-term performance….and did we mention its stain-resistant too 🌿

Starting with the right material allows us to rethink, refine and rework what already exists — rather than replace it entirely.
