The Yarn Story The Yarn Story - รับผลิตผ้าทอมือ สอนทอผ้า ออกแบบลายผ้า คือสตูดิโอออกแบบสิ่งทอที่พา ‘ผ้าไทย’ ก้าวออกจากรันเวย์แฟชั่น ไปสู่งานศิลปะและการตกแต่งภายใน ตั้งแต่งานบนผนังโรงแรมระดับโลก ไปจนถึงการจัดแสดงที่กรุงปารีส

ทั้งหมดเริ่มจากไอเดียของ น้ำ-พิชาธร นวลได้ศรี นักออกแบบสิ่งทอไทยที่เริ่มต้นจากเวิร์กช็อปเล็ก ๆ ก่อนสร้างสตูดิโอของตัวเอง โดยทดลองทอผ้าแบบใหม่ ใช้เส้นใยหลากชนิดที่แทบไม่มีใครทำมาก่อน ตั้งแต่ไหมผสมทองแดง เส้นใยสะท้อนแสง ไปจนถึงการทอไหมคู่กับขนสัตว์ ทุกขั้นตอนเกิดเป็นเท็กซ์เจอร์ใหม่ ๆ พร้อมตัวอย่างงานที่ลูกค้าจับต้องได้จริง

งานของ The Yarn Story มีหลายสเกล ทั้งสิ่งทอสำหรับเฟอร์นิเจอร์ งานศิลปะบนผนัง ไปจนถึง Installation ขนาดใหญ่ที่โรงแรม InterContinental Bangkok รวมถึงงาน Mixed Media ใน Dusit Central Park และโปรเจกต์ร่วมกับนักออกแบบภายในอีกจำนวนมาก

เส้นทางสู่เวทีโลกของน้ำไม่ใช่เรื่องบังเอิญ คอลัมน์ The Entrepreneur ชวนไปค้นว่าแนวคิดอะไรที่ทำให้สตูดิโอสิ่งทอเล็ก ๆ แห่งนี้เติบโตไกลได้ขนาดนี้
