บทนำ: 10 เมนู รสมือแม่ ในความทรงจำ (The Prologue)
"สมบัติล้ำค่าจากเกลียวคลื่น... สู่รสมือแม่ที่ไม่มีวันลืม"

ครอบครัวของเราไม่ได้ร่ำรวยเงินทองครับ แต่เราเติบโตมากับความมั่งคั่งของความรักและท้องทะเล... ย้อนกลับไปในวัยเด็ก อาหารหลักบนโต๊ะของเราคือปลาและวัตถุดิบสดๆ ที่เราหามาได้เอง ทุกเย็นวันศุกร์ พ่อกับผมจะออกเรือลำเล็กๆ ขนาดเพียง 4 เมตร 70 เซนติเมตร ที่ดัดแปลงจากเรือใบแข่งติดเครื่องยนต์ 3.5 แรงม้า ฝ่าคลื่นลมออกไปสู่ผืนน้ำกว้างใหญ่ และกลับมาอีกทีในบ่ายวันอาทิตย์... ตลอด 10 กว่าปี นั่นคือวิถีชีวิตเพื่อความอยู่รอดของเรา เพื่อให้มีอาหารเพียงพอสำหรับทั้งสัปดาห์

ความเหนื่อยล้ากลางทะเลของสองพ่อลูก มักจะถูกเยียวยาด้วยรอยยิ้มของ "แม่" ที่รออยู่เสมอ... ผมได้เรียนรู้การหาวัตถุดิบจากพ่อ และได้เรียนรู้ศิลปะการปรุงรสชาติจากแม่ หน้าเตาไฟในครัวเล็กๆ ของเราคือพื้นที่ที่เปลี่ยนความเหน็ดเหนื่อยให้กลายเป็นความอบอุ่น ผมเพิ่งตระหนักว่านั่นคือความโชคดีที่ซ่อนอยู่ในความยากลำบาก เป็นประสบการณ์ที่เงินก็ซื้อไม่ได้

Where It All Began...

Every dish in this restaurant was born
in the quiet warmth of my mother’s kitchen,
where love was never spoken—only cooked.

She loved simple food:
wild curry, hand-scraped fish,
meals shaped by hardship,
made by a woman who knew hunger,
yet spent her life making sure her children never did.

My mother is no longer here.
Her voice has faded.
Her hands have grown still.

But her love remains—
in every flavor, every plate I serve.
