A reflection on “Non-Building Solutions”, a design philosophy rooted in repurposing, respecting, and reimagining existing buildings and forgotten spaces through interior design into new places, for new experiences, and new possibilities for the city.

Last week, our senior partner, Ou Sakulthai , shared these perspectives at the REKA Conference 2026 by The Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), in Kuala Lumpur, exploring the potential of existing spaces through the lens of “Designing Resonance”: crafting interiors of meaning, well-being and dignity.

We’re delighted to see Andaz One Bangkok featured in Design Anthology Magazine (Issue 42).

For us, Bangkok is more than a city; it is a tapestry of communities, cultures, and everyday moments. Our vision for Andaz One Bangkok was to weave those layers into a contemporary hospitality experience. A “vertical neighbourhood” that celebrates the city’s creativity, craftsmanship, and the people who bring it to life.

Thank you to Design Anthology and Katherine Ring for sharing the story behind this special project, and to the Andaz One Bangkok for trusting us to help shape this remarkable destination.

A space is never separate from the earth.
It is part of it. 🌍🌱

This Earth Day, we embrace design that welcomes the natural world in, respecting every material as an essential element of each space.

We believe the most meaningful spaces are grounded in harmony with the earth.
