Flowers in the Mist คือสตูดิโอจัดดอกไม้ที่ขึ้นชื่อเรื่องการเล่าเรื่องผ่านพรรณไม้ โดยมีรากฐานความผูกพันกับปากคลองตลาดมายาวนาน ความเชี่ยวชาญของพริษฐ์ตาไม่ใช่แค่การจัดดอกไม้ให้สวยงาม แต่คือการดึง ‘ความหมาย’ ที่ซ่อนอยู่หลังกลีบดอกไม้มาเล่าใหม่ได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง
ย่านปากคลองตลาดคือศูนย์กลางเศรษฐกิจดอกไม้ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในไทย ซึ่งขับเคลื่อนด้วย ‘ผู้หญิง’ เป็นส่วนสำคัญมาหลายทศวรรษ การจัดงานในพื้นที่ชั้น 3 ของตลาดที่ผู้คนมักมองข้าม จึงเป็นการชุบชีวิตอสังหาริมทรัพย์ในย่านเก่าให้กลับมามีมูลค่าและดึงดูดกลุ่มคนรุ่นใหม่ให้เข้ามาสัมผัสหัวใจของย่านในมุมที่ต่างออกไป
ROSE เริ่มต้นจากชื่อของ ‘กุหลาบ’ ยายทวดผู้เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของร้านดอกไม้ ชื่อนิทรรศการนี้จึงสะท้อนภาพดอกกุหลาบในฐานะ ‘ต้นทุนชีวิต’ ของผู้หญิงในย่านนี้ที่ใช้ดอกไม้เป็นเครื่องมือเลี้ยงชีพ โดยเฉพาะกับครอบครัวของพริษฐ์ตา ROSE จึงไม่ใช่แค่ชื่อดอกไม้ที่สวยงาม แต่คือจิตวิญญาณของธุรกิจครอบครัวที่ยังคงผลิบาน
นับเป็นการเปลี่ยนภาพจำของสินค้าเกษตรให้กลายเป็นงานศิลปะเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ ที่ไม่เพียงช่วยเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับร้านค้าดั้งเดิม แต่ยังเป็นการตอกย้ำว่ามรดกที่สืบทอดกันมาคือสินทรัพย์ที่ประเมินค่าไม่ได้ในการสร้างความแตกต่างให้กับธุรกิจในปัจจุบัน

ROSE
Flower Installation

This installation began with the name of a woman called Rose. She was a great-grandmother, and the origin of the name “ROSE” which later became the name of the flower shop that marked the beginning of the family’s floristry journey.

The flower shop at Pak Khlong Talat has been passed down from one woman to another, from generation to generation.

Roses are often seen as symbols of love or luxury,
but this body of work chooses instead to reflect the rose as a representation of the lives of women whose livelihoods are intertwined with flowers.

For me, ROSE means more than beauty.
It is not merely the name of a flower, but a vessel
filled with quiet stories, care, labor, and lives
that continue to bloom beneath the surface.

งานจัดวางดอกไม้โดย พริษฐ์ตา ธัญญ์สิรินทร์ ( Flowers in the Mist)

งานจัดวางชิ้นนี้เริ่มมาจากชื่อของผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งนามว่า “กุหลาบ” ผู้ที่เป็นทั้งยายทวดและเป็นที่มาของชื่อร้าน “ROSE” ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของอาชีพร้านดอกไม้ในครอบครัว

ร้านดอกไม้ในปากคลองตลาดได้ถูกส่งต่อจากผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งถึงผู้หญิงอีกคน จาก จากรุ่นสู่รุ่น ดอกกุหลาบที่มักถูกมองว่าเป็นตัวแทนของความรักหรือความหรูหรา แต่งานชุดนี้เลือกจะสะท้อนดอกกุหลาบในฐานะของชีวิตผู้หญิงทุกคนที่มีดอกไม้เป็นส่วนประกอบในการดำรงชีพ

ฉะนั้นคำว่า ROSE จึงหมายถึงสิ่งที่มากกว่าความสวยงามสำหรับเรา เพราะมันไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่ชื่อของดอกไม้ แต่เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องราวที่ซ่อนอยู่
