บ้านกระต่าย บ้านส่วนตัวในย่านชานเมืองเชียงใหม่ ถ่ายทอดเส้นสายของความเรียบง่ายและนิ่งสงบ ผ่านองค์ประกอบที่อบอุ่นและนุ่มนวล
จุดเริ่มต้นของโครงการมาจากครอบครัวขนาดเล็กที่เลือกย้ายวิถีชีวิตอันเร่งรีบจากจังหวัดภูเก็ต มาสัมผัสจังหวะชีวิตที่ช้าลงของเชียงใหม่ พร้อมความตั้งใจที่จะดูแลคุณยาย และให้ลูกสาวทั้งสองคนได้ค่อยๆ เติบโตไปพร้อมกับพื้นที่แห่งนี้
ชื่อ “บ้านกระต่าย” มาจากไอเดียตั้งต้น ของ Owner ที่อยากให้ลูกๆ มีส่วนร่วมกับบ้านตั้งแต่ช่วงแรกของชีวิต ชื่อจึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงภาพจำของบ้าน แต่เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเด็กๆ กับพื้นที่ ตั้งแต่วันที่เริ่มออกแบบ จนถึงวันที่บ้านเสร็จสมบูรณ์
ในมุมมองของการออกแบบนั้น บ้านกระต่ายถูกตีความผ่านแนวคิด “บรรยากาศที่นุ่มนวล” แต่ยังมีความเรียบนิ่ง เหมือนจังหวะชีวิตที่ช้าลงของครอบครัวนี้ สอดคล้องกับรูปแบบของบ้านในช่วงต้น ซึ่งถูกมอบโจทย์ที่เน้นความโมเดิร์น เส้นสายคมชัด และความสมมาตร แต่เมื่อมองลึกถึงผู้ใช้งานจริงไม่ว่าจะเด็กๆ และผู้สูงอายุ ภาษาของบ้านจึงค่อยๆ เปลี่ยนไปสู่ความเป็นมิตรและอบอุ่นมากขึ้น
เฟอร์นิเจอร์ที่เข้าใจง่าย โทนสี neutral แสงสีไฟเหลืองอบอุ่น และเส้นโค้งมน ค่อยๆถูกเติมเข้ามาอย่างตั้งใจ โดยยังคงหัวใจของความเป็นบ้านโมเดิร์นเอาไว้ ตั้งแต่ องค์ประกอบความเรียบเนียนของเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ในทุกจุดและลดทอนในสิ่งที่ไม่จำเป็น เมื่อรวมเข้าด้วยกันกลับสร้าง บรรยากาศที่สงบนิ่ง แต่มีชีวิตชีวา อยู่สบายตั้งแต่ภายในสู่ภายนอก
นอกจากนี้การวางผังยังเป็นหัวใจของการพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัว เรามองการรักษาสมดุลของแต่ละพื้นที่แม้สเปซจะกว้างขวางแต่ต้องเปิดมุมมองถึงกัน เพื่อให้สมาชิกในบ้านไม่รู้สึกห่างเหินกันจนเกินไป โดยเฉพาะเด็กๆ และผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องการการดูแลเป็นพิเศษ พื้นที่ต่างๆ จึงสามารถรับรู้ซึ่งกันและกันไม่ว่าจะอยู่มุมใดของบ้าน ตั้งแต่โซนทานอาหารที่มองเห็นคุณยายขณะทำอาหารในครัว พื้นที่ทำงานที่เห็นการเคลื่อนไหวของส่วนอื่นของบ้าน ไปจนถึง มุมของเด็กๆ ที่วางอยู่ใจกลางห้องนั่งเล่น การมองนี้เห็นจึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงเรื่องของการเชื่อมต่อพื้นที่ แต่กลายเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงผู้คนภายในบ้านเข้าหากันในทุกๆวัน
บ้านกระต่าย กำลังค่อยๆมีชีวิตชีวาขึ้นทีละนิด จากวันแรกที่โครงการได้เกิดขึ้น การเปลี่ยนแปลง การเติบโตของทุกๆคนเป็นเรื่องราวที่อบอวลในบ้านหลังนี้ งานสถาปัตยกรรมนั้นกลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตอย่างเรียบเนียน แสง เงา รูปทรง ผิวสัมผัส ถูกผู้อยู่อาศัยเข้ามาเติมเต็มความหมายของมันโดยสมบูรณ์— จากพื้นที่ที่ถูกออกแบบ สู่พื้นที่ที่ถูกใช้ชีวิต และจากบ้านหนึ่งหลัง สู่เรื่องราวของครอบครัวที่ยังคงเติบโตต่อไป

Rabbit home is a private residence in suburban Chiang Mai, expressing simplicity and stillness through warm, gentle elements.

The project began with a small family moving from Phuket in search of a slower pace of life, while creating a home where their grandmother could be cared for and their two daughters could grow.

The name “Rabbit home” came from the owner’s wish to involve the children in the house from the very beginning. More than a name, it became the starting point of their relationship with the space.

The design explores a “soft atmosphere” while maintaining the calm simplicity of modern architecture. The original brief called for sharp lines and symmetry, but the needs of the children and elderly gradually softened the architectural language, making the home warmer and more approachable.

Simple furniture, neutral tones, warm lighting, and rounded forms were carefully introduced while preserving the essence of modern design. Clean details and restrained elements create a calm yet lively atmosphere throughout the house.
Spatial planning focuses on keeping the family visually connected. The dining area overlooks the kitchen, the workspace opens toward the living areas, and the children’s space sits at the heart of the home. These visual connections turn the layout into a subtle way of bringing the family closer together.

Rabbit home continues to come alive through the changes and growth of its inhabitants. Light, shadow, form, and texture are gradually given meaning through everyday life, allowing architecture to become a natural part of the family’s story.
From a designed space to a lived-in space; from a house to a story that continues to grow with the family.

นิยามคำว่า “บ้านในฝัน” ของนักสะสมชิ้นงานศิลปะ เติมเต็มจินตนาการในวัยเด็ก ซุกซ่อนไปด้วยรายละเอียดที่ สนุกสนาน ชวนค้นหา แต่แผงไปด้วยความงามและ aesthetic ของการใช้ชีวิต
บ้านพักอาศัยในโครงการ เศรษฐสิริ เริ่มต้นจากโจทย์ของครอบครัวขนาดเล็กที่มีสมาชิกเพียง 2 คน และแมวอีก 2 ตัว หลงใหลในการสะสม Art Toys และงานศิลปะ แนวคิดการออกแบบคือการเล่าเรื่องของผู้ที่อยู่อาศัยกับของสะสมชิ้นโปรด ที่จะหลอมรวมไปกับงานสถาปัตยกรรม พร้อมเปิดพื้นที่ให้ทุกๆคอลเลกชันเติบโตไปพร้อมกับการใช้ชีวิตอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ
บ้านหลังนี้ จึงถูกถ่ายทอดผ่านการออกแบบพื้นที่ที่ให้งานศิลปะและการใช้ชีวิตเกิดขึ้นพร้อมกันอย่างนุ่มนวล ทุกฟังก์ชันของบ้านจึงเน้นรองรับการจัดวาง หมุนเวียนคอลเลกชันได้อย่างไหลลื่นตั้งแต่มุมมองของพื้นที่ ไปจนถึงรายละเอียดของเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ล้วนถูกออกแบบให้มีความยืดหยุ่นและคำนึงความสมดุลของชิ้นงาน จึงเกิดการดีไซน์ทั้งพื้นที่ปิด(hidden) สลับเปิด(open) เพื่อให้ Art piece แต่ละชิ้นโดดเด่นต่างกัน และสร้างความน่าสนใจในแต่ละมุมราวกับในบ้านยังมีสิ่งให้ค้นพบใหม่อยู่เสมอ
“สมาชิก 2 คนในบ้านหลังใหญ่” สิ่งสำคัญคือการสร้างสเปซที่อบอุ่นและเข้าถึงกิจกรรมของกันและกันได้ เริ่มตั้งแต่การจัดวางสัดส่วนของแต่ละโซนให้เชื่อมต่อถึงกัน ไปจนถึงการเลือกใช้โทนสีไม้และสีขาวนวลที่ช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศเป็นมิตร อบอุ่น และไม่รบกวนความโดดเด่นของชิ้นงานศิลปะที่เป็นหัวใจของบ้าน สไตล์หลักของงานออกแบบหยิบเอาความ modern classic ของตัวสถาปัตยกรรมภายนอกมาตีความใหม่ ยังคงสะท้อนความหรูหราเดิมผ่านการใช้หินอ่อนหลายชนิดที่ให้คาแรคเตอร์ที่สง่าสงามและยังแผงไปด้วยหัวใจของความสนุกสนาน ถูกลดทอนให้ร่วมสมัยมากขึ้น เปิดโอกาสให้วัสดุ สี และพื้นผิวได้แสดงคาแรกเตอร์ของตัวเองอย่างโดดเด่น จนเกิดการผสมผสานร่วมสมัยในจังหวะที่พอดี
บ้าน กลายเป็นเป็นสถานที่หลอมรวม เรื่องราว จินตนาการและ ศิลปะการใช้ชีวิต เข้าไว้ด้วยกัน ทุกฟังก์ชันถูกออกแบบขึ้นเพื่อสะท้อนตัวตนของเจ้าของบ้านอย่างแท้จริง เปลี่ยนของสะสมให้กลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสถาปัตยกรรม และทำให้ทุกวันของการอยู่อาศัยเต็มไปด้วยแรงบันดาลใจและความสุข

A Home of Art & Wonder reimagines the dream home of an art collector—a place where childhood imagination, playful discoveries, and the aesthetics of everyday living come together.
Located in Setthasiri Ruamchok, the house was designed for a couple and their two cats, whose passion for Art Toys and contemporary art shaped the design concept. Rather than serving as a backdrop for a collection, the house seamlessly integrates art into architecture, allowing both the collection and everyday life to evolve together.
Every space is designed to accommodate changing collections with flexibility. Carefully composed sightlines, adaptable furniture, and a balance of open and concealed display areas allow each Art Piece to stand out while creating moments of surprise and discovery throughout the home. Although designed for only two residents, the house emphasizes warmth, connectivity, and comfort. The original Modern Classic architecture is reinterpreted with a contemporary approach, combining natural marble, warm timber, and soft neutral tones to create a refined backdrop where materials, art, and daily life coexist in harmony.
Ultimately, the house reflects its owners' identity by integrating cherished collections into the architecture. More than a place to live, it is a home where art, imagination, and everyday life become one.
