Project name : Vivid boats
Concept design : Rooted in the maritime traditions of southern
Thailand, the concept of brightly colored “fishing boats ”emerged as
a practical solution to the challenges of night navigation. Prior to the
advent of modern tracking systems, fishermen would adorn their
vessels with vivid hues and distinctive patterns. These visual cues
served not only as identifiers but also as a form of maritime
communication, reducing the risk of collisions. This practice exemplifies
the ingenuity and cultural heritage of coastal communities.

ชื่อผลงาน : เรือฟรุ้งฟริ้ง
แนวความคิด : มาจากสี ” เรือประมง “ ที่เป็นอาชีพหลักของคนใต้ดั้งเดิม
ช่วงเวลาที่ชาวประมงไม่ได้ออกเรือกลางทะเล ชาวเล หรือ ชาวประมง
จะใช้เวลาช่วงนี้ระบายสีเรือ และจำเป็นต้องเลือกใช้สีสัน ที่ฉูดฉาด
เพื่อเวลาออกเรือกลางทะเลในตอนกลางคืน จะได้เห็นชัดในระยะไกล
เพื่อใช้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ในการสื่อสาร กลางทะเลในตอนกลางคืน
ของเรือแต่ละลำ เป็นสัญญาณป้องกันอุบัติเหตุ จากเรือลำอื่นๆ
จึงเกิดเป็นภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้าน เนื่องจากสมัยก่อนยังไม่มีเทคโนโลยี
