A bloom of glaze,
uneven, unrepeatable.
Wabi-sabi whispers—
sometimes, pricelessness
lives in imperfection.

Sometimes I look at a piece and realize it could never be repeated. The glaze runs, the way the colors bloom into each other, the uneven edges that settle into their own quiet balance… it all feels like it belongs to a moment that can’t be recreated.

That’s the beauty of wabi-sabi—imperfections that carry a deeper kind of perfection. Not flawless, not polished, but alive.

And in that, there’s something priceless.

✨ Meet my new glaze: Canyon Veil ✨

When I opened the kiln, it felt like staring into a miniature landscape—layers of red, green, and bronze flowing like ancient walls shaped by rivers. It reminded me of the Amazon canyons, where time and water carve out forms that feel both fragile and eternal.

This glaze carries movement, like earth in motion, yet it’s frozen in place—each piece becoming its own canyon, unrepeatable and alive.

Sometimes clay surprises me more than I surprise it. And this time, it gave me something that feels like holding a whole landscape in my hands. 🌍✨
