To the man who helped make my childhood perfect, fun, always being educated in some way, oooh if we could time travel I would go back to being a kid😭, taught me so many skills, including how to cut the pieces of wood in this pic👆, I’m that girl who knows the difference between a flat tip and a Phillip head screw driver😎, tools get me excited!! . Iykyk.😬
Taught me those little sayings that make my life easier..eg, righty righty, lefty, loosey, I still say to this day when opening or closing a pipe or something😅 and☝️ am passing on to my babies. Spoiled me rotten🙈, when the physics and chem homework got too hard, he gave me the answers, wasn’t the best thing to do, but hey, that’s how he showed his love and I ain’t mad🤷‍♀️. Always patient, never judging, taught me to have love and respect for The Higher One. Yo, I could go on forever, there isn’t enough space to write how much of an important role my dad played in my life, but at least he knows it. Happy Father’s Day to my daddy, and all dads!

Making these props were EVERYTHING! Full diy-geek mode. 🤓 I fully enjoyed the entire process, everything I envisioned came to life, well except the location, bummer. Restrictions were put in place around that same time, so we ended doing a small thing at home instead. The teepee however, was one on my to-do list I can finally tick off.
Uses:
•as a prop for taking pics
•for kids parties(decor)
•sleepovers
•kids playroom(quiet corner for imagination to run wild!)

The moment, you’ve all been waiting for....lol. This is one of the “chosens”. The colours matched her 1st outfit perfectly, for the smash cake “experience,” cause boy was it an experience! And it included her bday party theme. “Tribal-bohemian, but with glitter”😜.
It may be over the top, but yuh only turn 1 once. 😌

Guys, I went into the archives( my son’s 1st birthday party stuff) for this one. Lol. I remember thinking up how I wanted his outfit to turn out for his smash cake pics. My sister made his little outfit, just how I envisioned it, and I made this crown to go with it. I wasn’t sure it was gonna turn out the way I wanted, but when I completed it, I was so pleased with everything!
All this to say, my baby turned 1 recently......I know, already 😍😩🤭😭🤩🥰.....and my thoughts went straight to how I DIY-ed everything for my son’s party, sooo....naturally, I did the same for her.🤪
