（學名：Ornithoptera meridionalis）
雌性黃綠鳥翼鳳蝶較雄蝶大，翅膀也較圓寬闊，與雄蝶差別很大。雌蝶翼展可達14釐米，身體上斑不呈黑色，腹部呈金色，胸部局部有紅色的絨毛；前翅呈褐色，有白色不規則斑紋；後翅黑色，有黃色、白色帶環繞，並布有5-6個黑色的斑點鏈。雄蝶翼展約12釐米，較為細小，頭部黑色，腹部鮮黃色；有綠色絨毛，前翅呈黑色和綠色，有規則地交錯，有光澤，後翅外延綠色，內側黑色，有絨毛，布有黃色帶，和綠色條紋，脈紋更為清晰。

Imitation Southern Birdwing Butterfly
(Scientific name: Ornithoptera meridionalis)

The female yellow-green birdwing butterfly is larger than the male, with wider and rounder wings, making it significantly different from the male. The wingspan of the female can reach 14 cm. It does not have black spots on its body, the abdomen is golden, and parts of the thorax have red velvet-like hairs. The forewings are brown with irregular white patterns; the hindwings are black with yellow and white bands encircling them, and are adorned with 5-6 black spot chains. The male has a wingspan of about 12 cm and is smaller in size. Its head is black and the abdomen is bright yellow. It has green velvet-like hairs. The forewings are black and green with a glossy, regular interweaving pattern. The outer edge of the hindwings is green, the inner side is black with velvet-like hairs, and it has yellow bands and green stripes with more distinct veins.
