The smooth welding treatment provides a consistent, even surface with no ridges or bumps to the welds, providing a clean look to the frame. And its 148mm boost rear dropout - a wider chainstay requires a wider hub and axle, which increases lateral stiffness and allows for stronger, stiffer wheels.
