商業空間設計的挑戰不外乎就在於時間、預算，如果條件再嚴峻一些，可能還會加上設計期不足的限制。本案，我們在兩個禮拜內從接洽、初期丈量到完成設計並開工，短時間的設計細節以及工班調度是我們累積的經驗展現。

材料只使用三種主要材料：立體磁磚、不鏽鋼亂紋、長虹玻璃；三種材料都為了呈現“線條“的語彙，差異在於各自紋理的粗細大小，而這些線條的粗細大小如同髮型設計店所遇到的客戶髮質，有粗，有細，彼此截然不同。

The main challenges of commercial space design often revolve around time and budget. Under more demanding circumstances, there may also be the constraint of a shortened design period. For this project, we moved from initial contact and site measurement to completed design and construction within just two weeks. The ability to refine design details in such a short timeframe and to coordinate multiple trades reflects the depth of experience we have accumulated.
Only three primary materials were used in this project: three-dimensional tiles, hairline stainless steel, and reeded glass. Each material was chosen to express the vocabulary of “lines,” differing in the scale and texture of their patterns. These variations in line thickness and fineness are akin to the different hair textures encountered in a hair salon—some coarse, some fine, each distinctly unique.

本案位於台北大同區，高屋齡的建築且密集於都會環境中，長型住宅單元是常見的居住型態，然而此類格局往往導致採光不足，使室內顯得陰暗壓迫，重新梳理空間配置與生活動線，藉由前後陽台的大面開窗，讓自然光與空氣得以穿梭其間，開放而通透的格局，從客廳一路延伸至餐廚區，形成連續的空間帶狀，使光與風自由流動，為老屋注入新的生命力。

Located in Taipei’s Datong District, the project sits within an urban fabric of aging buildings. The typical elongated layout often results in dim interiors and limited daylight. By reconfiguring the plan and opening large windows on both balconies, natural light and airflow pass freely through the space. The open layout extends from the living room to the kitchen, creating a continuous flow where light and wind bring new life to the old home.
